Not only the points are great for travel/car rental or short trip hotels, what you may end up with if you decide to become an owner thru Westin, is the amount of your Explorer package applied to the sale as a down payment along with the 50k starpoints for returning and maybe another bonus # (30-50k) of starpoints for buying .
