Per the owner: Things we loved about the resort are: 1) a one of a kind unit at the Barcelo Aruba (there is only one 3-bedroom unit, sleeping 8 to 10; 2) it is huge, with one of its 3 separable units, No. 2925, being a junior suite all by itself: 3) Barcelo is centrally located in the high-rise hotel district; 4) all kinds of shopping and restaurants are just steps away from the property, in walking distance;: 5) all 3 bedrooms have full view balconies, with great, unobstructed views and in-suite bathrooms: 6) Aruba is one of the safest and most popular Islands in the Caribbean, out of the hurricane belt; 7) US currency is easily accepted all over the island; 8) Aruba has two large, modern supermarkets, not a great distance from the property, as well as Starbucks, Wendy's, McDonald's, and other American favorite restaurants; 8) Scuba diving, water sports, and numerous site-seeing trips, including some by horseback or 4-wheelers; 9) There is nightlife and evening entertainment at a number hotels and other venues; 10) There are a number of exciting casinos on the island, including at the Marriott Stellaris Casino & Resort, also at the Hyatt Regency, the Radisson, the Alhambra, and the Glitz Casino at the LaCabana Resort; 11) There is an 18 hole golf course at Tierra Del Sol, where multimillion dollar houses are and where new ones are still being built. 12) the sunsets are fantastic, and moon light cruises are available, as well as the popular day-light cruises.
There are so many things to see and do on the island.
