Maintenance fees 2024: $2,996
Per the owner: My wife and I went to MVC’s Resort at Grande Ocean on Hilton Head Island for our honeymoon in 2017 and fell in love with their 2 bedroom Villa. Our first 2 years we enjoyed being in a very shared area to sit on our balcony with a glimpse of the ocean. 3 large outdoor pools, plus a separate lap pool I swan in while she read a book in the shade of big trees near by lounging in a large hammock. A wooden boardwalk to one of the largest private beaches on the island. Lifeguards rent us umbrella covered lounging chairs in the ocean’s beach. A Loggerhead Tiki bar steps away from the Dolphin pool there for cool mixed drinks or your favorite beverages. Live music there most evenings. Even convenient pizzas & sandwiches there as well. Summertime activities on-site for kids and color flavored snow cones. An 4th indoor pool, consistent fun watching pelicans fly overhead nearer the ocean. The list goes on. We only vacationed away from HHI twice with MVC in CA & FL’s Marco Island but for my money, for which we spent over $40k buying our timeshare here, nothing beats HHI and its many activities and events! I will miss it! A place where memories are made!

Marriott Vacation Club
Marriott, a world-renowned hotelier, entered into the timeshare business in 1984. Through their timeshare division, called Marriott Vacation Club International, they have developed exquisite timeshare properties in the most sought-after destinations around the world. In 2010, Marriott introduced Marriott Vacation Club Destinations, a timeshare points system.
Marriott Vacation Club's resorts are often large and provide guests with the amenities of home - including one to three bedrooms, living and dining areas, master bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen, in-unit laundry facilities, and often private balconies.
Most Marriott owners have access to the Marriott Rewards program, which allows owners to trade their weeks in for points that can be used at other Marriott resorts and hotels, as well as other travel-related services.
Note: This program may not be available to owners buying on the resale market. Please check with Marriott before purchasing to confirm all benefits.
Marriott also operates:
- Ritz-Carlton Club: Marriott's fractional ownership club, with a group of even more luxurious resorts.
- Vistana Signature Experiences: Encompassing the Sheraton and Westin resort brands, Vistana Signature Experiences offers stylish villas in some of the most sought-after destinations.
