Lake Placid Club Lodges, located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, offers year-round possibilities for vacationers of all ages. The site of the 1932 and 1980 Olympic Games, Lake Placid is one of the most popular winter-sports centers in the East, where Whiteface Mountain boasts some of the most challenging skiing. In warmer weather, Lake Placid offers water sports galore, from windsurfing to waterskiing. Guests have access to private Lake Placid Resort Beach. The Mountain Golf Course is only a short walk from the resort, and guests of Lake Placid Club Lodges receive discounts on green fees.
There is high speed Internet access available at the Algonquin Lodge.
