  • Cibola Vista Resort and Spa

    Peoria, Arizona

Drawing inspiration from the legendary Seven Cities of Cibola, Cibola Vista Resort and Spa is a true retreat among the dunes of the Peoria. Of course, one of the resort's biggest draws is the full-service spa, offering a full range of treatments in a serene, desert-inspired atmosphere. Kick off your day with a workout in the fitness room, and then spend some time at the pool plunging down the three-story water slide or sipping drinks from the pool bar. Horseback riding and kid's pony rides can even be enjoyed right onsite at the resort.

Cibola Vista boasts a remarkably unique layout. Accommodations are divided into six "cities", each with courtyards, fountains, reflecting pools and gardens that can be shared by the "community". With units ranging in size from studios to 2- bedrooms, you'll have no trouble finding the perfect size for your group. Studio units include a balcony, flat-screen TV, one queen bed, kitchenette and a dining area for two. One-bedroom and larger villas come in multiple configurations, and include additions such as full kitchens, breakfast bars, whirlpool bathtubs and fireplaces.

Peoria lies halfway between Phoenix and Lake Pleasant, offering ease of access to both areas. Head north to Lake Pleasant for fishing, boating or water skiing. Or, enjoy more urban pursuits in Phoenix, such as shopping, dining and exploring local galleries and museums. Peoria is also a haven for golfers, and Cibola Vista's golf concierge is always happy to help arrange tee times at local courses.
