What made us decide to purchase the Quarter House Timeshare was simple.....The staff was very nice, pleasant, and very helpful. That plus the suite was elegant, old world decor and spacious. That along with a pool in the garden area, also a gym and daily maid service.
The Quarter House is located in the heart of the French Quarter which puts you close to Canal Street and Bourbon Street. You are also close to Caesar's Casino, River Walk Mall, and Audubon Aquarium of The Americas, Audubon Zoo, Mardi Gras World, as well as Jackson Square and the French Market all within walking distance. You are also close to antique shops and multiple restaurants to sample the New Orleans cuisine.
For things to do, you have various ghost tours, streetcar rides, and a paddlewheel river boat "CITY of NEW ORLEANS" and Steamboat "NATCHEZ", and many other tours (cemeteries, plantations, airboat swamp, alligators, etc.).
All of the above rounds out our reason for purchasing the two bedroom, two bath suite with a completely furnished kitchen at the Quarter House.
