I get a kick out of reading these reviews! We do own a week at Maui Beach, so maybe I'm biased? We've stayed at Maui Beach 7 times. Last year we rented 2 weeks from another owner so we could stay 3 weeks. My wife has MS and so excessive heat is not good fo her, even without the air conditioning she does just fine at Maui Beach. I like waking up in the morning hearing the birds singing! The resort is small, as far as I'm concerned that is a PLUS! The beach is across the street, access is easy, it's clean, you can and many people do enter the water to wade and/or swim and you can walk for miles.

There's a hot tub and a clean, not heated pool, plenty of room to relax by the pool. There are two very nice well maintained gas grills. There are daily activities aound the pool. There is some road noise but it's never bothered us and we live in the country back home. The staff is second to none and many have been there since we began staying, they remember us and welcome us back every time we go.

I guess it's all about personal preference, Maui Beach is our home away from home, we love it there and look forward going back again and again. It's a great place to kick back and relax!

The place isn't run down as marlissm wrote and has had upgrades since we began staying there.

Beautiful time at this resort in Jan of 2026. Tons of room, there was 4 of us. Clean resort, excellent location, quiet, sushi restaurant called Isana ON SITE!! Pool was nice, beautiful beach across the way, the grounds are well kept. Very polite staff who greet you as you walk by. Comfortable beds, lots of sitting room inside and on the balcony. Location was key!! S Kihei Rd, a short drive to restaurants, other beaches and the marina where you board the boats for snorkeling / whale watching etc. Only 25 min from airport - 2 main highways, very easy commute. Loved this resort!

Nice, quite area, without tons of vehicle traffic. Staff is very friendly and helpful

This is a beautiful location and directly across the street from the beach. It is clean and the staff is wonderful. Come visit everything Maui has to offer!

Excellent location, close to beach and all Island activities. The concierge on site was very helpful booking excursions at discounted rates.

This resort is so accessible to everything! 15 minutes from the airport, Costco, Walmart, and close to all the South Maui beaches including Wailea. The Resort is right across the street from the beach overlooking the beautiful ocean and West Maui Mountains. Everything you need is in the resort: Washer & Dryer, Full Kitchen, Lanai with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Great "Maui-shaped" pool with hot tub with BBQ's and ample comfortable lounging and eating space around the pool. Makes for an amazing family vacation and/or romantic getaway!

Very spacious unit. Large bedrooms and living room. Granite counter tops. Selling because at 76 I don’t travel any more but used it for many years and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This has been our home-away-from-home since 1998. we've never had any problems when visiting. We always enjoy the serene atmosphere of the waves crashing the seashore. As well as the splendid views of the ocean which is only a few steps away. We always enjoyed the cleanliness of the place. we have made nothing but pleasant memories here.

Ocean Views from all Units, poolside condos available, spa and BBQ areas. Phenomenal maintenance and cleanliness. All units equipped with modern kitchens and laundry equipment. All recently re-furbished

Stayed in Jan.2024 for 2 weeks, great staff, extremely clean rooms and pool area, type of place where guests talked and socialized with other guests around the pool, hottub and bbq areas, beach across the road was great for long walks or a quick swim but not great for snorkelling. Saw lots of whales from balcony. Would stay again.

This is a very nice resort just north of downtown Kihei and South of Sugar Beach so it's close to services but away from the noisy downtown. It's a clean, quiet resort with great views of the ocean. It's right across the street from the beach. You can walk to Kihei Pier and spend your day at the beach or lounge by the pool. There are bbq grills and a hot tub. There is a Korean restaurant onsite. Staff is friendly and helpful. Full kitchen, internet and lanai.

We love the ocean breezes and the friendly staff. A more intimate resort with only 47 units. No need for A/C.

Great location, right across from beach, staff super friendly. Nice and clean ! Would def stay again! No air conditioning, but in most months you don't need it across from the ocean!

Always look forwards to enjoying our week at MBVC! Staff knows us by name. Always try to be there during humpback season late November through early May, and around the Xmas - New Years period if we can get it. Downside is there are so few units in comparison to the huge demand, so we have to plan 1.5 yrs in advance to reserve our week, which is then subject to other family commitments conflicting with our chosen week.

This unit is in north Kehei and sits across from a bay where whales come to calve so you can whale watch from your balcony. It is bi-yearly (odd years) making it an affordable way to enjoy Maui. It’s clean and well maintained with a friendly staff. There is a pool, spa, and on-site restaurant. Close to all south Maui has to offer.

Ideal location in Kihei, very nice property with clean, comfortable, recently remodeled rooms. Onsite housekeeping, security and management keeps things running perfectly! Great for couples and families - especially those who know a great value and a nice place when they see it!

The great thing about Kihei is a layback type of feeling not like hustle and bustle of the resorts You're 20min away from the airport. 45min closer to road to Hana less time in your car. Nice accessible beaches right of the hyw. You don't have to go thru a resort to get to them. Nice Restaurants to name a few (Maui Brewing company) (cafe o lei) best Food Truck. Perfect for Family time.
