Per the owner: The ocean view is fantastic. Shopping just below the beautiful flower beds that are a sight to see in the spring. Star Bucks to just sit, rest and people watch. Outdoor shopping has a great variety of stores to brouse. There is a music museum where you can hear the sounds of instruments. One visit a group of teens visiting and the docent demonstrated how to do the charleston! What a joy to watch these teens dancing! There is an array of unusual looking instruments. Then there is Legoland for the younger families to enjoy. Of course the beautiful ocean to enjoy - walking along the beach, pier, rent bikes, wonderful outdoor eateries are feasts for the palette dressy to casual. Downtown Carlsbad has a wonderful array of shops - used bookstore, coffee shops, shoes, casual wear, strawberry patch to pick yourself or just buy already picked. Delicious! The courtesy of all the Carlsbad Palisades staff is A-1. Pools, Jacuzzis, fire pits such a pleasure. I enjoy a couple massages which was sooo relaxing.
