Ocean Cove Club at Palmetto Dunes

Great location - one block to the best beach - free golf - only pay for cart rental - free 2 hours of tennis / pickle ball a day - relax on the partially shaded back deck overlooking lagoon - Love this place

We really love the location of the Ocean Cove Resort in the prestigious/secure Palmetto Dunes area of Hilton Head. The rear has a unique combination of a balcony area that is covered and with a deck on the waterway below. It also has a balcony in both bedrooms. Additionally, the beach acces is directly across the street. Hilton Head itself if an amazing area, had wonderful gourmet restaurants and, also, reasonable ones.

We have owned this timeshare for 40 years -- we loved it so much that we bought another week and vacation here twice a year -- safe, quiet, family friendly and perfect as a get-a-way!

Great accommodations and across the street from the beach. It's great for families.

Great location. Anytime we called with a problem someone was there within 15 minutes. New furnishings brightened up the condo. Wonderful being on the lagoon across from the beach. Alexander's early dinner in walking distance is fabulous. Very quiet and private location.

Have owned this for 15 years. The comments about rundown are old and this resort has been completed renovated inside and out in the last 4 years. The lagoon is unique to his resort and offers wonderful wildlife to watch and enjoy. Wish we could continue to own, but health reason prohibit.

Oh my gosh, this was by far the most run-down place we've ever checked in to and stayed. Got last minute from RCI and here is my review:

BAD *In dire need of maintenance throughout. *Pool not heated / no jacuzzi on property. *No grills anywhere / no grilling allowed. *Drapes stained and ripped. *Carpet dirty (not freshly vacuumed) *light bulbs burned out or hanging from sockets! *dishwasher was not properly anchored to wall, rocked back and forth when in use. *refrigerator shelves had dried blood (?) on them. *walls in unit were filthy and stained *both bathrooms had stained tubs and sinks. *balconies didn't have furniture (or furniture was old and cushions were wet) *tv's were very small *no railing on balcony off living room - dangerous! *canoe rental was outrageously expensive

GOOD *plenty of room for 4 people (2 bedroom) *great location, close to beach access & tennis *potential to be first rate with ALOT of work!! *walking distance to general store *secure

We would never consider staying here again, at least not until ALOT of improvements are made. We were not pressured for sales pitch, obviously they cannot sell these units in this condition. We were miserable the entire week - weather was great and a hot tub would have been so nice to get in to. Phone call to guest services inquiring about using another property's hot tub was met by rude lady who was "having one of those days". This is a Motel 6 (at a truck stop) compared to a Westin if you judge it by other HHI standards. It's just old and gross.

Excellent location on the Palmetto Dunes Plantation. Middle island location. Near everything. Three championship golf courses. Largest tennis center on the island. Free shuttle throughout the resort area. This property sits on a lagoon (canoes are available) and is only 75 yards from the ocean. Units are large and well maintained. Multi level townhomes. A-1

This is golf and tennis heaven! As an owner, you are a full member of the Palmetto Dunes Club, which allows you the FREE use of three PGA championship golf courses, and thirty-one courts of the tennis center. Plus, you're only three hundred yards from one of the finest beaches on the East coast.
