The Kohala Suites Hilton Grand Vacations Club is a smaller, more intimate property compared to larger resorts. The Kohala Suite are close to the Hilton Waikoloa Village and guests have access to their amenities , including pools and restaurants, with charging privileges. The Kohala Suites offers spacious accommodations: The suites are two-bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens, dining areas, and private lanais. It's a very convenient location and close to Anaehoomalu Bay and shopping areas, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions. We loved our stay and the staff is wonderful.

Owning here since 2006, and very pleased with the upkeep and great staff here. Also like that we can exchange this for Bay Club or Kings Land as well as many other HGVC properties. But we love this location, the staff, and the amenities. Getting older and spending time with grandkids or we would continue to own. Quiet, nice pool, comfortable beds, kitchen just fine for a vacation.

Situated in the heart of the Waikoloa Beach area on the Big Island, this timeshare is comfortable and convenient. Ownership also includes access to the Hilton Waikoloa resort property.

great full resort for the whole family . full access to very close by sister Hilton resort on the ocean with even more restaurants and activities.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom at Kohala Suites June 2026. We stayed in a 2 bedroom at The Bay Club June 2025. Overall we liked the Bay Club rooms better. Kohala Suites has a very small lanai and ours was on the road w/ the hot morning sun and no real cover over the lanai. {building 16} The Bay Club had very large covered lanais and ours last year overlooked the peaceful golf course. So, unfortunatley I did not spend any time out on the lanai this trip (@ Kohala Suites), which is a real bummer b/c I LOVE spending time on lanais when in Hawaii. Bay Club was also a larger unit with more room to spread out. Guests can use the pools @ Kohala Suites or Bay Club, so no difference there. One thing to note is guests of The Bay Club have to pay a "day fee" to use the ammenities @ the on site ocean front property "Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Tower". When staying @ Kohala Suites, you do not have to pay this "day fee". We took the {free} shuttle over to the Ocean Towers property one day. It is beautiful. However the amenities (pool slides, beach pool, a fresh water lagoon, more hot tubs) are not something that was high on our list (group of 4 adults) -- so we swam in the pool close to our building, which was just fine. If I had young children the Ocean front units would be great. Over all this is a great HILTON complex. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. It is quiet. Grounds are beautiful. Employees are gracious. Plenty of free parking. Washer + Dryer in the room. They clean the room 1x per week, however you can get anything you need in between. We are considering buying a unit @ this Hilton property. I would choose to purchase @ The Bay Club because having more space in the unit & a large covered lanai is important to me. Either way, you will not be disappointed with your stay @ The Hilton Waikoloa Village. {also, something we discovered this year, the drive in to KONA to have dinner is the same distance/time as the drive up to Waimea, which has some great options for food as well, and a Long's Drug Store & is a super cute town.

Very nice 2 bedroom suite. The suite has a kitchen which makes it very comfortable and convenient for a family. There is a nice pool and club house on site for use by all. Another great benefit of ownership is that you have access to the Hilton Waikoloa Beach Resort (Hotel) to use the pools, and other facilities at that property.

Great resort, very comfortable and in great condition, perfectly located, wonderful for families or couples. Enjoy all that the Big Island has to offer, with Kohala Suites as your home base - you can't go wrong!

The units are spacious and the property is beautiful. Guests here are allowed to use the facilities at Waikaloa Village with a shuttle to take you there. Free parking.

Very spacious and clean rooms. This is our go-to place year after year. We love that staying here grants us complimentary access to the luxurious Hilton Waikoloa Village property and all its amenities (huge pool with water slide, and free parking at the resort!). Staff are very friendly and welcoming too.

Outstanding property and location. True enjoyment for the holiday week

The three Hilton sister properties in Waikoloa are all outstanding. Kingsland, Kohala Suites and Bay Club are well run, clean and beautifully maintained properties. The pools are inviting and as an Elite member we have access to the Kingsland pool complex when we visit. Our return trip to Hawaii after 3 years of Covid absence was incredible - we love every minute of our home away from home. I love that parking is on the property - which is a drawback of the Ocean Towers property.

We've had many great family vacations here. Feels new, very clean with a helpful and friendly staff. Located on Gold Coast of the Island of Hawaii where lava along the highway opens up to gorgeous resort communities with white sand beaches and inviting restaurants and shops. Enjoy golfing at some of the most beautiful courses in the world.

Always have a great experience staying here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have daily events including music at the pool some afternoons during your stay.

The rooms are spacious and it is in a great location. Rooms are clean and updated. It has a shopping center nearby and the drive to Kona (where there is a Costco) is close. The surrounding beaches are great for snorkeling. The pool amenities are wonderful and you have access to not only this resort, but also the nearby Hilton resort amenities.
