Since 1986, we have enjoyed the Indian Palms Vacation Club. It is very close to things we liked to do but now find we are no longer that active. It is now time for someone new to get to know this incredible desert community!

Palm Springs is a short drive from Indio as are numerous casinos, Outside temperatures during the winter months are usually between 65 and 85 degrees F. Great place for golf lovers as there are 27 holes of quality golf on the premises. Pool and hot tub are outside your unit door as well as laundry facilities.

All the units have been updated in 2004-06. Not Gold Crown quality perhaps but it's a very nice, gated, clean, quiet facility – and it has the best golf value in the greater Palm Springs area. Close to several TOP golf courses and close to a nice casino.

We have stayed here twice as recently as Nov. '04. The units are clean and adequate. The staff friendly and helpful. It's a good place to use as a launching pad for all there is to do and see in the Palm Springs area, or to kick back and enjoy the sun. The pools are not large and one was cold.

If you're looking for glitz, this is definately not your place, however, it is in a beautiful gated country club and IS very safe. You can't beat the price anywhere in the valley.

We stayed at this resort last fall, not in this unit. Like he says, this resort is the oldest resort in the valley, and it shows. The unit was clean, but lacked many amenities, we had to get additional bedding and towels from the office, no dish washing soap nor soap in bathroom. Furniture old but ok. Only nice thing about this resort was the golf course. Not a Gold Crown Resort, and never will be. SORRY

Dumpy, had to change rooms 3 times to get one that wasn't torn up. Upgrading on the lobby was in progress but the units needed it desperately. I was a little nervous when we drove up and found bars on many of the unit windows. I found out why a few days later when a hotel down the street had police there with Hazmat teams to clean out a Drug Lab that had been set up in one of the rooms. Wouldn't suggest the area especially for families. The complex looked like low budget apartments down to the abandoned cars in the lot.

Great place to just relax and enjoy the mountain scenery in the Desert of California. Play golf or go for a swim, the Palm Trees are the Tallest in the area as this was the Presidential retreat for many years.
