Sweetwater Kauai at Alii Kai Reviews & Ratings

Beautiful views of the ocean and the mountains! The rooms were great with two bedrooms and two full baths that have been beautifully renovated. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Just a few steps away from the sea cliffs edge to watch the whales and ocean waves below. We enjoyed many great hikes, golf, and beautiful beaches. Short walk to a beautiful cave beach and a short drive to several spectacular north shore beaches. We have stayed at many timeshare locations throughout Hawaii over the past 15 years and this is one of our favorites.

These units are the same footprint as the Alii Kai II, which are being renovated in 2014. These units have had decorator updates and have flat screen tv but are in need of renovation of doors, mirrors and kitchens. That said, the resort is wonderful, friendly and with amenities to make vacationing in paradise readily enjoyable. Kitchens are very well stocked to cook anything. Grills are available at the pool. Large and comfortable, with in-unit washer/dryers, there is room to relax and enjoy. These units trade through VRI/II and have assigned weeks that rotate seasonally each year. Maintenance fees have been kept lower than Alii Kai II; as a result, check in is via a box outside the resort office, which does not handle the Sweetwater units. However, there is a number to call for maintenance and they are very responsive and nice.

The condo remodel is in a authentic Hawaii style & the decor adds much to the experience. The location in Princeville is ideal. You'll love the relaxing & dramatic scenery od the resort area.

What a stunning resort ! Excellent location, lush landscaping , nestle on an ocean bluff.. sparkling pool & jacuzzi , low maintenance fees and ( within 1 mile ) : world class surfing, swimming and snorkeling, and golf ! WOW! Loved it

Come enjoy the unparalleled beauty of Kauai's North shore. Princeville is an idyllic location minutes from pristine beaches and the charming small town Hanalei. From this comfortable 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo, you can walk to Queen's bath, play tennis, pickleball or golf at the incredible Makai course. Just a 40 minute drive from the airport, enjoy the pool, hot tub, and barbeque grills on the property.

Nice, comfortable unit. Quiet Princeville location. The unit has a partial ocean view on one side, and mountain view on the other. Easy parking, nice pool area with barbeque, and easy access to all the north shore beaches and sites.

great location and friendly staff. Kauai is my favorite island .
