    Atlantic Beach, North Carolina

Atlantic Beach is the oldest of five resort towns along the Bogue Banks on North Carolina's coast. Known as the "Crystal Coast," it's one of those places that remains in your memory as a great vacation spot. Walk down the boardwalk from your villa to the white, sandy beach, where you can rent a chair and an umbrella for the day. Then head into the surrounding communities for some great seafood. Whether you like to swim, bask in the sun, sail, or fish, Atlantic Beach Resort is the perfect location for any of these activities.

We love going here to Atlantic Beach Property every year because the resort is awesome. The sea views are beautiful, the water crystal clear, and the sand is white and fine, which is where the Crystal Coast gets its name.

      What makes this property unique:

Providing a front balcony with ocean views, the spacious apartment includes 2 bedrooms, a living room, 3 cable flatscreen TVs, an equipped kitchen, and 2 bathrooms; the master bath with a tub and the 2nd one with a shower. The resort offers bed linen, towels, soap, shampoo, and laundry service. Guests can take in the ambiance of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area, or make the most of the warm weather with the property's barbecue facilities. This beachfront property provides direct access to the beach, access to mini-golf, fitness center, private parking, and free Wifi. The resort provides 2 outdoor swimming pools, a huge indoor pool, hot tub, and elevators in every building. Accommodations for disabled guests are also provided. For guests with children, the resort features a kids pool, a water park, a children's playground, tennis, volleyball, and shuffleboard courts. Hiking can be enjoyed close by. It is a 10-minute drive from the resort to the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Reel Screamin' Fishing Charters is less than 1 mile from the Atlantic Beach Peppertree. The North Carolina Maritime Museum is less than a 15-minute drive away. The nearest airport is Coastal Carolina Regional Airport, 35 miles from the accommodation.

I think what makes this property so special is its proximity to a pristine white sand beach, literally across the street and over the dunes by private beach access. There are grocery stores, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. Fort Macon, a Confederate fort, is just a couple of miles away. Beaufort, a nearby town, established in 1713 and incorporated in 1723, is the fourth oldest town in NC. A NC Aquarium is in the

Filthy outdated resort. Do not rent a week here. My wife and I arrived here and the unit was just filthy. We called housekeeping and they sent over what appeared to be 2 teenage girls who dropped off cleaning supplies to us. My wife & I new we couldn’t get refunded so we spent the first 2 hours of our stay cleaning & sanitizing the unit. There was barbecue sauce on the counter. The untensils in the drawer had hardened food on them. The kitchen table and coffee were sticky. The couch and living room chairs were disgusting very outdated and had stains all over them. The grounds outside the unit are old & outdated. No landscaping , over grown and ghetto like. Our balcony was very dirty and the outdoor furniture was so dirty you couldn’t sit there overlooking the ghetto. Then the crescendo where my wife and I killed 4 huge roaches only 3 nights into our stay. We can not sleep here without the lights out. We will be leaving in the morning and loosing our money on 3 nights we already paid for. Please read this review and believe me there is no exaggeration here. Worst vacation experience ever ,

I have owned this 2 bedroom unit for many years and was there in 2014. The apartment is on the third floor with a nice view of the beach. There are lots of activities for families, with tennis on-site and three pools to choose from. The grounds are always well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. And of course, the beach in August is perfect.
