The location is a real highlight—tucked away in a peaceful, wooded setting while still being conveniently close to the nation’s capital, making it easy to enjoy both relaxation and day trips into Washington, D.C.

The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere of the resort is calm and family-friendly, with plenty of space to unwind.

It’s a great option if you’re looking for a quiet getaway that’s still within reach of major attractions!

Very impressed, great location between Washington, Mount Vernon and Richmond.

Multi purpose facility, the two bedroom units are in a rear of the property, on or near the lake. Separate from the campground.

Two bedroom, two bath cozy cabins. Comfortable layout, well equipped kitchen, washer dryer in unit. Good internet.

Every conceivable Retail store and restaurant between Fredericksburg and resort location. Close to 95.

Visited over New Year's, planning another visit in the Fall..

Terrific outdoor activities (lots of watersports on the lake and many outpool swimming pools). Large rec center. The two bedroom cabins, especially the ones on the lake are charmingly rustic. Only a one hour's drive to Washington DC (if not caught in rush hour traffic) and just a few miles down the road from huge discount shopping centers. This resort has an open wilderness, camping type feel because of lots of wooded land, but it's really located on the fringe of suburban Washington DC. The Quantico Marine Base and FBI Training Center are close by.
