Hyatt Vacation Club at Ka’anapali Beach Reviews & Ratings

We have been coming to Maui for about 30 years. We have stayed everywhere on the island. In 2015 we found the Hyatt Residence Club. It surpasses everywhere else we have stayed. We bring our family every year at Thanksgiving to stay at the Hyatt Residence Club. Every villa we have stayed in has jaw dropping views of Kaanapali Beach, Lahaina and Lanai. The pools are beautiful and fun with the beach a two minute walk past them. Guests have full use of the amenities of the Hyatt Regency right next door. There are different and fun activities for the kids every day. The work out room is on the main floor and fantastic. Delicious food. A mini market on site make it so easy and the grandkids love the refillable mug for Slushies and sodas. Beautiful rooms with full size kitchen and washer and dryer. A highlight of our day is the lovely walk along the beach to other resorts and Whalers Village for restaurants and shops. In one word, Paradise!

Paradise on earth! One of the best beach resorts we have been! Staff is super friendly, the rooms are super clean and updated and the beach... YOu have to see to believe. There are so many things to do even for kiddos!

This is a one bedroom mountain view unit with a beautiful lanai, full gourmet kitchen and topnotch furnishings throughout the unit. The location is perfect as you can walk to restaurants and the beach is right in front of the Residence Club. The grounds are beautiful, as is the neighbor Hyatt, and you have access to both locations. You can snorkel where the Hyatt hotel property starts, as there is a sand channel that lets you wade and swim out to deeper water without scraping over the rocky reef in front of the Residence Club.

Exceptional views, staff, amenities, space, pool, fitness center, and food. Perfect for families, especially with tiki torch ceremony nightly. Comfortable and convenient. Couldn't ask for a better environment.

A great place to enjoy Ka'anapali; my kids love the beach and pools, easy walk to shopping, courteous and helpful staff, all good.

The second week of the year is generally full of whale sightings and sunshine.

This is an amazing resort right on the Ka'anapali Beach. All finishes in this resort are top notch and the Lanai is huge. The windows slide back to create an open flow from the living area to the Lanai. It's beautiful.

This resort has stunning views of the ocean. The staff is amazing and works to accommodate anything you need. We loved the food options within the resort and we are a short ride to many other restaurants. Golfing was right there as well so we were able to take advantage of that a couple of times. We had a great experience in all aspects of our stay!

Hyatt Residence Club is a beautiful resort on the Ka'anapali shore. All rooms are ocean front and it is right next door to the Hyatt Regency. Guests at the Hyatt Residence Club also have access to the next door hotel's amenities as well. The resort is also much smaller than the Westin so getting chairs by the pool and getting towels is significantly easier. Beach is a 2 minute walk away and a 5 minute walk from Ululani’s Shaved Ice stand at the Hyatt Regency Maui! Whaler's village is also walkable but not quite as close depending on if you want to get your steps in.

We have been coming to this side of the island since 2007 and started staying at the Hyatt Residence Club in 2017. There is no other resort on this side of the island better that the Hyatt Residence club. Everything you need at your fingertips. Best vacation spot EVER!

This apartment was absolutely stunning—the ocean views alone were unforgettable, especially with Lanai Island in the distance. Mornings or afternoons were spent by the infinity pool with a drink in hand, while the kids enjoyed the water slides or spent time snorkeling with sea turtles right off the beach!

Inside, the kitchen was beautifully designed and fully equipped, which made everything easy, and the open living space gave us plenty of room to unwind. The master bath with that deep soaking tub was to die for. Evenings on the lanai quickly became one of our favorite rituals—just sitting back and taking in those incredible Maui sunsets!

Outstanding resort. All units are ocean facing. Amenities are excellent. Resort has limited number of units, so not as crowded as other resorts. Some of the best snorkeling on the island is directly off the resort beach. Excellent.

The best decision you can make for your getaway is booking an ocean-view stay. There’s nothing more relaxing than drifting off to the rhythmic sound of waves just outside your patio door. With beautiful weather most evenings, you can leave the doors open and let the fresh ocean air fill the room.

This is a beautiful property on Kaanapali Beach. The 2-bedroom suite can sleep up to 6 people if the pull out couch is used. The suite selection on check-in will be assigned as 7th floor or higher during the stay for an amazing ocean view. The lanai, or outdoor balcony is larger that a usual balcony-type patio. The facility is very clean and is fully outfitted with all amenities.

Beach front property located on Ka'anapali beach close to many activities and restaurants. Gym includes Peleton bikes in addition to treadmills, weight machines and free weights. Resort has a full schedule of activities for guests of all ages. We love the adult pool with ocean views, but there are large family friendly pools as well, with small waterslide for little ones. Units are very comfortable and clean, with large kitchens so you can eat in with ease and enjoy the dining room or balcony to enjoy the views. We love it here.

Beautiful, clean, GREAT restaurants, staff is attentive and a friendly, the bed is more comfortable than the one I have at home. It’s the perfect combination of quiet and relaxing along with so much to do and see on the property and in the area. It’s nice to stay someplace where you’re perfectly happy and fulfilled to never leave. This is in the top 3 places that I have ever stayed, and I travel a lot!

Hyatt Vacation Club at Ka'anapali Beach is a very nice resort. We go there as often as we can. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Maui is a beautiful place to vacation.
