Harbor Ridge

Our family stayed here in 2003. It was an awesome unit. The main floor has a kitchen, laundry, bath, LR and deck. The upstairs is a nice master suite with private bath and a deck.

It also has a lower level bedroom, bath and an exit out to the back yard. It was great for the two teenage girls. They were in a world all of their own. However, they were able to sneak out and without our knowing it! We cooked out on the grill a lot. They have a nice big game room for the kids in the main building. Mount Desert Island was awesome, so much to see and explore.

A few minor maintenance issues that needed addressing, but in all, our stay was very pleasant. We would definitely go back and stay again!

Great location on Mount Desert Island overlooking Southwest Harbor. Perfect grounds and especially well suited to families.

Wonderful indoor pool and onsite recreation. Spacious full sized townhomes close to many trails and short walk to central Southwest Harbor, with many dining options.

15 min drive to the fabulous Acadia National Park and 20 min to the quaint town of Bar Harbor with marvelous shopping and dining.

Friendly and helpful staff are very attentive.

Wonderful property just outside Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Beautiful, peaceful setting overlooking Somes Sound with pool, clubhouse, picnic area and walking trails. Sit on your deck and enjoy the views down o the only fjord east of the Mississippi.

Centrally located to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and walking distance to town for dining and shopping. The units were clean, comfortable, and had plenty of cookware. The staff was pleasant and helpful providing Ideas and directions to make your stay enjoyable. Will definitely go again..

The four stars is mainly for location, peacefulness and great staff. The unit was nice, three floors, master bath and master bedroom on top floor, Second bedroom on lowest floor. Middle floor was living room and kitchen. Two and one half baths. Upstairs bed was uncomfortable and ceiling fan noisy. Lower floor had jacuzzi and only a double bed. Main complaint was no TV in downstairs bedroom and no comfortable chairs. (Our major concern) Also a big concern is how thare is little privacy, because one can hear everything since there are no doors to bedrooms and noise carries up and down the stairs. This can be a problem if the people upstairs and downstairs have different sleeping cycles. If not, hard to not hear someone on the main floor even if Tv turned on low.
