    Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Her name is Victoria and she reigns supreme over the breathtaking beauty of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. With a temperate climate and British Colonial heritage, Victoria is a year-round treasure. Sights include the world-famous Butchart Gardens, Royal British Columbia Museum and the amazing Victoria Butterfly Gardens. Stroll through Goldstream park where salmon spawn, eagles fly and waterfalls cascade down cliffs. Or view grizzly bear, orca whales and sea lions touring the Knight Inlet wilderness. After a full day, head back to the resort to linger over tea. The rooms are angled to maximize water views and the fireplace will keep you cozy as you look out over the moonlit bay.

Victoria is a sophisticated gem of timeless quality, named for one of history’s most remarkable women. Experience her charms today. It’s not nice to keep royalty waiting.

In addition to the great attractions above, Victoria has many more beautiful parks, golf courses, boating, sport fishing, scuba diving and other things to see and do.

This is a great resort. It is right on the ocean bay and you're in a Penthouse. It is one of prettiest cities in the Northwest. There are all kinds of activities in the city or go explore outside the city (whale watching, zip line, museum, carriage ride, water taxi etc.)

We love staying here. Its a beautiful spot with tons to do and see. Victoria is charming, lots of character. This location is easy to get around , walk to many areas or take the aquabus. The street market, shops and eateries are excellent. The waterfront and harbour is beautiful and picturesque.

I love walking into Victoria along the harbor from this location. And watching the cruise ships around the point is also nice. You are near the houseboat marina with some good fish and chips places and ice cream there as well as nearby places for boating.

I personally like a king size bed so that is why I put a four star on this. I also choose to bring an eye mask to keep light out a bit better than the vertical slates do.

If it weren’t for the suave resort style and craft brews nearby, you might feel as if you’ve stepped into history during your stay here. British Columbia’s capital embraces Queen Victoria’s era, showcasing sophisticated delights from that time. But no matter the time period, this resort gives you the space to share it together.

We stayed here in September 2008 for 1 week. SO handy to everything & only a walk to the city. Our apartment overlooked the floating houses on the harbour- a really lovely place to be. We were amazed at the size & contents of the apartment & would love to go & stay again .

Staff we found were NOT friendly & didn't want to be of help at all . Staff had NO inclination to "advise" on tours etc ....

So handy to everything - walks to restaurants,supermarket,city.......the sea planes landed nearby ,horse & carriage rides were a short walk away too.

      We just loved it .

We stayed at the Worldmark in Victoria during early October and it was wonderful. Great location overlooking the bay and a nice paved walkway to the Empress and many fine shops and restaurants. Our penthouse was large and nicely appointed and the private hot tub on our deck was a spectacular place from which to view the activity on the water. We could not have enjoyed our stay more and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Victoria and the Worldmark for a memorable vacation.

Victoria is such a great city. The culture and the city remind me so much of London. There are so many great shops to visit and if you are looking for great antiques, there are many shops. One must take in High Tea at the Empress Hotel. The marina and all the gardens are simply beautiful.
