Of all the Marriott resorts we have visited, this is our favorite. The beach is the best for walking barefoot in the very edge of the surf - something we enjoy immensely. The courtyard is beautiful, with grills, shuffleboard, firepits, etc. A quite and relaxing place, but plenty for the entire family to do. Lots for the kids! Quiet enough if you have no kids with you! Best of both worlds! Our son and his wife just spent their honeymoon here and LOVED it!.

What's great about Barony Beach is that the beach area is much less crowded than many on Hilton Head. Also, it's next to the Westin Hotel and beyond the hotel, beach access is only available to in Port Royal Plantation homeowners making it the least crowded area in all of Hilton Head Island.
