Is the beach directly in front swimmable? I read that there is a good amount of coral, the beach is relatively steep in this area, and it’s not as swimmable as those beaches near the Marriott ocean club to the south.

Got it. Thank you. We just got back from the property after all and we had discovered that. Near Kehilie Park (public area directly South) there is Sandy and you could swim out there. Otherwise we just lift up and tread water. However, we found that the snorkeling is absolutely superb in front of the hotel. Some of the best!

Yes be careful of coral but there is a sandbar then rocks. If you are comfortable treading water, no problem!
