Review: Newport Marriott Coast Villas – A Family Favorite for Over 20 Years

Our family has been coming to Newport Marriott Coast Villas for over 20 years, and it remains our absolute favorite vacation spot. Whether you have young children, older kids, or are traveling as a couple or group of friends, this resort truly has something for everyone.

One of the biggest highlights is the breathtaking views—everywhere you turn, you’re met with stunning coastal scenery. The resort offers three different pool areas, each with its own unique vibe. Whether you’re looking for a lively atmosphere with a poolside bar, great food, and live music, or a quieter retreat with BBQs and a cozy fire pit, you’ll find the perfect spot to relax.

Beyond the pools, there’s an abundance of activities to enjoy. We love taking the complimentary hotel trolley to the beach, playing beach volleyball, basketball, and even putting golf—all available right on the resort grounds. The activity center is fantastic for kids, offering plenty of opportunities to be creative, have fun, and make new friends.

To top it off, the surrounding area has some amazing restaurants, making it easy to enjoy a delicious meal after a day of fun. Newport Marriott Coast Villas continues to be a cherished destination for our family, and we look forward to returning year after year!

Incredible peaceful Pacific Ocean tranquility. A must own to experience the beauty of California's gold coast. The unit is exceptionally well maintained, and it is the jewel of the Marriott villas.

Amazing ocean views, Lavista bar and grill area is nice and sits right next to three pools and two hot tubs, plenty of activities for kids and live music during the afternoons. Shuttle service has multiple trips to Crystal cove, Laguna Beach and Fashion Island Mall.

This is the only place I stay in CA. Not far from Disney, Hollywood and so many other places!

After two fabulous decades, I've decided to pass on my cherished timeshare. This is a great resort for families and friends. The two bedroom 2 bath full kitchen suite has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Newport Coast has so much to offer - beaches nearby, great restaurants, shopping! What more could you ask for......You are guaranteed a super vacation!

Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas is the perfect place for a relaxing coastal retreat. The villas are spacious, well-equipped, and offer breathtaking ocean views. This resort is one of the most popular resorts in the entire Marriott Vacation Club collection. It's the premier location in the Newport Coast area with superior shopping opportunities ranging from the local tourist shops to some of the finest shopping in California if not the entire world. The restaurants in the area cover everything you could possibly want from Michelin Star, top-cuisine restaurants as well as chain and fast food venues.

Newport Coast Villas is a woderful resort with almost 700 villas. All villas sleep 8 people and are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, non smoking with a balcony, full kitchen and laundry. Come stay and you will be hooked to come back over and over again.

We love this resort! This is a first class vacation resort at a very reasonable cost!

The views are amazing. The area offers so many places to eat and things to do and see. Beautiful beaches, shopping, fun day trip destinations like Disneyland, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Knotts Berry Farm, theater and much more!!

We have stayed here for the the last 7 years for our kids spring break. Great times! Going to Italy this year but want someone to take advantage of this great place.
