From the moment we arrived, Hilton Vacation Club Sedona exceeded all expectations. Nestled in the heart of Red Rock Country, the location is absolutely stunning—every window frames a postcard-worthy view of Sedona’s iconic formations. The resort blends comfort and luxury with the rugged charm of the desert.

Our suite was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we especially appreciated the private balcony for morning coffee and stargazing at night. The kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the in-room fireplace added a cozy touch.

The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make our stay exceptional. From hiking recommendations to dining tips, they knew the area inside and out.

We made full use of the pool, fitness center, and hot tub—all well-maintained and perfect after a day of exploring trails like Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax, recharge, and reconnect.

If you're looking for a tranquil retreat with first-class hospitality and unbeatable scenery, Hilton Vacation Club Sedona is the place. We’re already planning our return trip!

This is a fantastic location if you like to be away from the busy downtown area in Sedona. The resort has numerous pools and a nice infinity hot-tub that overlooks the mesa. The rooms are large with ample space for all. Diamond Resorts takes pride in providing comfortable sleeping arrangements, beautiful decor and fully furnished kitchens. If you wish, all you need to bring are your clothes, swimsuit and food if you wish to cook.

I have been coming to this resort for the past eight years, it is one of the nicest in Sedona. It is far enough from all the tourist traffic and noise in downtown. It is in a quiet high end residential area with VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS. Stunning red rock views and excellent new or remodeled facilities. Granite counter tops, big screen TVs and comfortable beds and VIEWS! Several pools and spas to choose from.

Absolutely LOVE the location of this resort. Trails are right out the back of the property. No crowds of downtown Sedona, and yet downtown is just a couple of miles down the road.

We have stayed here twice. We were a bit disappointed with our recent stay, since they put us in a unit that is in obvious need of upgrading. The screen door to the master balcony needed repair; and even after the repair man "fixed" it, it still fell off often. The resort went "digital" on their TV's while we were in town, but they didn't automatically upgrade all the units, and we were not advised of the change, so we were without cable for a night and a day, and needed to call to ask about the issue. We would have thought that they would just automatically take care of this or at least leave a message on our phones.

On our first visit several years ago, we must have been in a newer unit ... all granite counters throughout and beautiful furniture. This time, there was some odd solid surface in the bath with only one sink. It felt a little small-ish. The bed was quite comfortable but the way that they make the beds had the bottom sheet crawling up each night. The furniture felt in need of replacement.

We don't like the fact that there is no restaurant, bar, or small market on the property to pick up odds and ends that we might forget at the market. We think these items would make this place an absolute gem.

But, all in all, it is a fantastic location in general. The unit you will receive will make your stay better or worse. First, the location of the unit ... we find that the ground floor units feel very dungeon-like. The views from the unit also will make the stay better ... or worse.

We were pondering whether they may have "overbuilt" the resort since there are far more units than our first visit there. It seems that there are many units that have a "resort/parking lot" view. It's too bad. Fewer units and adding a restaurant, spa, market, pool bar would have been a better idea.

The staff is fantastic! They were very accommodating and helpful. The sales staff/conceirge is a bit on the aggressive side.

This is a first day review so it will be edited. I only wanted to comment on one review I read about the coffee pot. I bought a coffee pot to bring after reading the review and calling the resort to check. Indeed, I was told, there was not pot. However, what I didn't find out is that the coffee maker makes 12 cups, keeps the coffee inside, and dispenses one cup at a time. No pot to break, plenty of coffee. So you can come here now if the coffee pot was keeping you away. This place is very nice, and Sedona has so much to offer. Second day observation. More bbqs needed. There are three in our area, and they need repair at least, better if replaced. I haven't noticed many people using them, but you have to call to have maintenance come to light them. More later.

We were just at this resort from October 10-17th of this year. The weather is perfect this time of year. The resort pools were outstanding, the units were fantastic! Beautiful tilework everywhere. Every bathroom has a shower and jacuzzi bathtub. Dishwasher and laundry in-room. Everthing felt comfortable and even luxurious. The resort activities were fun with a local folk-singing cowboy and guided tours of local sights. The location in just outside of town away from the traffic. We had three small children with us and were pleased that everything felt family friendly.

No coffee pot, just a brewer for 1 cup at a time, very inconvient if you have coffee drinkers, plus now they charge a $1 per additional bag, when it used to be free. You get 1 free bag of reg and 1 free bag of decaf, that's it. We went to Safeway to buy coffee, rather than pay a $1 per bag. If you have a large party, 3 or more coffee drinkers, then you will want to go out for coffee and breakfast, otherwise your breakfast will be cold by the time everyone gets their coffee. We were not eligible for the time share presentation, our spouses weren't with us, and I had just been to a presentation a few months ago, so it should be 6 months before I could go again, but the conceirge kept tryiing to talk us into it, even though we said NO.

I am an OWNER OF 60,000 POINTS, AND I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS RESORT.

Also, if you get the Sunset Suite, we had the 2 bedroom Sunset Suite, be prepared for it to be very dark in the room! Very poor lighting. Hard to read by.

Stayed March 22-28th in a 2br sunset unit. Unit was recently remodeled and quite nice. It was a dedicated 2br with 2 master suites. Both had 2 person jacuzzi tubs and double sink bathrooms. Great location close to shopping but in the quiet west side of Sedona. Would gladly return again.

We stayed here from 2/13/09 through 2/20/09. The unit was dated, but clean with all amenities in good operating condition. It should be noted that they were in the process of updating units while we were there so chances are that future visitors will be assigned a more modern unit. The layout of the unit was great for us. The two bedroom unit is actually a large one bedroom suite with full kitchen and bath connected to a studio with its own bath and small kitchen. It would be possible to sleep eight as the one bedroom suite has a king size bed, the studio has a queen bed, and each has a pull out sofa. The property itself has several pools and hot tubs. We didn’t get to use them because the daytime temperatures during our February stay didn’t exceed the mid fifties, but they were conveniently located throughout the property adjoining clusters of buildings. For the brave souls out there who can handle it, they do keep the pools heated year round. It is conveniently located just off of 89A (the main drag) in Sedona. The only real drawback to our stay at Sedona Summit was the high pressure sales pitch when we checked in. The lady checking us in was relentless in her efforts to convince us to sign up for “the 90 minute tour” on the upcoming Monday morning. It took us about forty five minutes to get through the registration process, get our keys, and get away from her. When it became apparent that we weren’t going for “the 90 minute tour” deal, her solicitous attitude toward us quickly turned cold. We did meet another couple during our stay that succumbed to the pressure and took the tour. They told us that they had a hard time getting out of there in three hours, and as veteran timeshare patrons, that the pressure was more intense than any other sales pitch they had ever heard. Be careful walking around town also. The timeshare companies have people standing in front of storefronts and at booths trying to Shanghai you into going on their tours too. They literally almost block your path and follow you down the street hawking their pitches. I don’t know if its because of the current economic situation or something about this town, but I’ve been to many timeshare destinations over the years, currently own a timeshare in Williamsburg VA, and I’ve never seen the level of desperation I saw in the timeshare salespeople in Sedona. It’s really a shame too, because it cheapened what was an otherwise outstanding vacation.
