Sterling Munnar
Kerala, India
Munnar, situated 135 km east of Cochin, is the highest hill station (1524 m) of Kerala. The highest peak in southern India, Anaimudi (2965 m) is a short distance from it. Munnar has a cool, bracing climate and exudes an olde-worlde charm. The atmosphere is fragrant with extensive tea and cardamom plantations. The enchanting high range of lakes and streams, the low-lying clouds and the mist-filled valleys cast a spell which lingers long in the memory.
