A beautiful resort situated on a beautiful Island. The Virgin Grand Villas are situated on a hill overlooking Cruz Bay with plenty of parking, which makes renting a vehicle to see the rest of the island very easy.

Visit undiscovered St John in Westin style. The most beautiful beaches in the world. Great restaurants and the friendliest people yo'll ever meet!

Amazing location. On the beach. Private plunge pool in this unit. Extremely clean units and premise. Great food on premise, and great daily activities for adults and children. Lots of iguanas roaming the property along with a wide variety of birds. Bus & taxi service on the resort premise. A 5-minute ride into town.

The resort is so lovely and situated with a beautiful view of Cruz Bay and lovely beach. The units have wonderful appointments and love those Westin bathrooms and beds. So much to do on St. John - went to a different beach in the national park every day! We will return!

We stayed in our friend's timeshare unit in January 2019- our first visit to St. John. Best Caribbean experience ever-so natural and fun to be an islander for 10 days! If you like snorkeling and sailing - St John is the best. Can't wait to return next January! We immediately put an offer in for week 3 and our offer was accepted. See you in 2020.

Westin St John is a laid back very relaxing / awesome vacation get away. The resort itself is by far the best on the island. Well-staffed clean with the best amenities available. The 3-bedroom private pool villa unit is exceptionally large and very well kept great three large king-sized beds and a walled-in private pool/deck area allowing for outdoor activities. The island itself boasts world-class beaches, two small but fun towns, several great restaurants / bars, some of the best boating activities you can find / and the best sunsets views available. Beautiful!

We just returned from our 2 weeks at the Westin on St. John, the weather was great, the beaches are awesome as always and the food was also great. We have enjoyed our hillside unit at the Westin for a number of years and decided to something different in 2023.

Vacationing at the Westin St John since 2008, we are drawn to the island’s natural beauty and consider it our second home. Not only do we love the beautiful beaches and the slower pace of the island, we also enjoy our hillside villa as it is a quiet respite from the noise and busyness of the resort.

We LOVE St. John! The best vacations we've ever had were at the Westin St. John. When we had our annual discussions of where to vacation, our memories of the Westin St. John always rated #1, so we couldn't resist returning, and ended up buying 5 weeks there.

We plan to go back yearly, with our grown kids and their spouses (aged 40 - 54) and grandkids (aged 1 - 19). It's ideal for all ages, from babies (had 2 with us last year) kids, teens, singles, marrieds, grandparents, etc. It's spacious and peaceful, you never feel overwhelmed or crowded out by kids like at many other resorts.

There's so much to love, and others have written about it. I like the ocean and pool temperature best - around 90 degrees. Even little kids (and their grandma) can stay in the pool or the ocean for several hours, snorkeling, swimming, or just resting.

With all the comments about the expensive restaurants, we like the small Dolphin grocery just a block up the road from the villas (an easy walk). Their deli has precooked dinners, your choice of one of 4-6 meat dishes (chicken, fish, meatloaf, etc) plus 2 side dishes which is enough to feed 2 adults. Just heat in the microwave and enjoy in your villa. Makes life easy and inexpensive. But get there early - because if you wait until 6 pm, many dinner selections are sold out. They also have a nice selection of wine and liquor plus groceries.

We love this resort, go there ever year. The beaches, the town and scuba diving are all easily accessible and great fun

We have stayed at Westin St. John nearly every year since 1997 and obviously love this resort. For kids there is an amazing pool and adjacent beach on the private lagoon with multiple water toys and excursions available. A super nice dock allows for easy boarding for charters and the Westin Ferry from St. Thomas. We have stayed in studios, 2 bedrooms, and the larger patio homes and never had a bad experience. We do own a unit across the street from the main entrance, up the hill. We like these units because you get access to a smaller pool shared amongst a few condos and you have parking right outside your door. The main resort area has a large public parking area which requires a short walk to your unit but the resort has complimentary golf carts coming by all the time to offer a lift to your unit. The resort is conveniently located and the island Taxis make the Westin a routine stop. So you can get almost anywhere you want to go by catching one of these very reasonably priced, open air taxis. Most of the Westin units have been updated since the most recent hurricanes and from what we understand, they are not opening units for rentals/stays if they have not met all the new guidelines. All the units are extremely comfortable and quiet. Expect to pay $300 - $750 per night depending on the season and size of the unit. Holidays are especially pricey. As mentioned Taxis are readily available but we always rent a Jeep as we like to visit some of the lesser known beaches. Make sure you make reservations for restaurants in advance if you want to hit the most popular places. The same goes for boat rentals and excursions. St John has been extremely busy since the original Covid shut down. You will find places to eat and excursions without a reservation but you may miss out on some great experiences without planning ahead. If you don't know already, you have to fly into St. Thomas and take one of the ferries over to St. John. Passenger and car ferries leave from Red Hook on the east end of St Thomas with passengers disembarking in Cruz Bay and cars one bay over. You can also pay to ride the Westin ferry which requires a shuttle from the STT airport. Last we heard the British Virgin Islands were still closed to US travelers so do your research before booking flights or excursions in the BVI. This review written 4-7-22

Premier resort in the Westin/Bonvoy chain. They have taken more than expected precautions re sanitary and cleanliness. It's like a brand new resort after renovations from past hurricanes. Family friendly, couple friendly, girlfriend-getaway friendly, and at the perfect time of the year! You couldn't ask for a better combination.

Love the Westin St John Resort!!! The 3 bedroom pool villa gives you so much room to spread out with family or friends. Entertain yourselves at your private pool. This villa location gets sunshine on the pool most of the day.

Upper hill apartment, with nearby semi-private pool nearby. View of the lagoon from balcony. Two rooms, 2.5 baths. Great view and quiet. Also, the room for the week after is available, every other year (even years), as a two week package, add $5000 and you get this room every year, and the week after every other year.
