This resort is HUGE! That was a downside for us with 2 littles; we didn’t need it to be that large. With that being said, the resort is very nice and the staff was great too. My only feedback on staff was to have more servers at the Tower 3 bar area. There was one server trying to keep what seemed like over 50 people happy; he did it with a smile, but service could’ve been quicker. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath was spacious enough for 4 adults and 2 kids; the interior is nicely updated with granite counters and current artwork/furnishings.

There was plenty to do onsite for our 2 yo and 4 yo. We played at the park, swam, walked the boulevard, saw the koi fish in the pond (they are BIG), checked out the daily activities.

Lastly, the resort felt safe. All guests needed a key to drive on property.

Wow! We had a great time at Bonnet Creek. From our balcony we were able to see all of the Disney fireworks at about 8:30 every night. The staff was always available to help us plan our day. And the property itself had a bunch of fun things to do every day. The restaurants and bars on the property were pretty darn good. I would recommend this place any time of year!

If you have stayed at Marriott timeshares before this is a step down. Unit decor needs to be refreshed. Electric outlet in bath did not work, stove top burner did not work.

Pressure to attend timeshare purchase presentation.

But location is convenient to all Disney parks.

Although the Wyndham Bonnet Creek is located "on" Disney Property and a shuttle service to the parks is suppose to be available - you have to book it an hour in advance, it doesn't run until the park closes and costs $8 per person each way. You can get priority parking at the parks for that price. We have stayed at many resorts in Orlando. If you plan on using the pool - stay some place else. This pool is nothing compared to the other resorts. The rooms are good size and clean. I find more fault with the agency that rented the room to us. Red week should keep it as a place for owners to rent directly to others.

This is an awesome resort! You are super close to Disney World and can get to all the parks in a few minutes. Disney World in general is a pain to get around. No one resort has easy access to all parks and I'd rather not take a bus to the parks so we loved having our own car with free parking at the resort and we just knew we were spending $17 a day when we went to a park. The parking pass is good all day at all the parks so you can come and go as you like. Use google maps on your iphone to get around if your rental car doesn't have GPS. It's very confusing with all the curved roads and high trees. After 10 days, I still don't feel like I have my bearings. We rented a 4 bedroom presidential penthouse and it was awesome! It's huge and felt like we were in a luxury house with a great view. The finishes were really nice and it was decorated well. Not ritz carlton/four seasons level, but definitely better than most timeshares out there. I would stay here again without hesitation. There are 6 large towers and a hotel and several pools, restaurants and bars so there's lots to do. The kids loved the water slide and the lazy river. We spent so much time at the parks, I wish we had more time to enjoy the resort!

we are currently at this property for a week via RCI exchange. I cannot say enough about it - HUGE accomodations (2 bedroom). Ask for high floor. Note there are "lake" and "disney" views. Due to the way the buildings sit you may have one or both. We had a couple issues (one with ice maker in frig) and they were very thorough and quick. We prior to this stayed 2 nights on Disney property. This beats ALL disney. More than enough to do and simply lovely place and within boundaries of Disney. BEST timeshare we have EVER exchanged or rented

We joined Redweek to rent directly from a Wyndham Bonnet Creek owner. We rented from Robert J Miller (12 days) and Donald D Hettinger (3 days) This was our first time renting a timeshare and using this site. That was the hardest part knowing who to rent from. Our experience with these two owners was completely positive. They went above and beyond finding us a reservation in high season when other people/companies we contacted on VRBO, ebay, craigs list, etc said there was no availability: and accomodated us when a few days had to be cancelled.

Try to down load a map of this resort. It has an oval body of water with 6 towers and a hotel around it. You can walk the boardwalk to get from tower to tower within minutes. Tower one has a playground in front, tower two has volleyball and miniature golf in front, tower three has a swimming pool with a smaller slide to slide into the pool, it has a bar and pizzeria. Wyndham Grand Resort Hotel is between tower three and tower six. Tower six has a pirate themed pool with a larger slide (approx age 8+ to use slide) a beverage bar and fitness centre. Tower five has the lazy river pool with zero entry, tower four a smaller pool and between tower four and tower one is the main building that houses the lobby, and has several pools out front. It takes only minutes to walk from pool to pool; we tried all the pools. There are also several hot tubs and some pools have mobility chairs to lift people into and out of the pool.

With all 6 towers, one side of the building has water, or (water & pool) views, and the other side of the tower faces the parking lot. We stayed in tower 5 with a parking lot view. The parking lot was very quiet as was our building. Our unit felt clean, the furniture well maintained and our bed in the master bedroom comfortable.

Tips: Approx. 20 minutes from the airport (traffic pending) If you rent a car remember to deactivate your toll counter if you plan to pay your own tolls. Wal-mart is approx. 7 - 10 minutes away by car and sells groceries. Parking at Universal Studios was $15 and $14 at Disney. At the time of this post both parks allowed for same day parking re-entry.

At both Universal Studios and at Disney they scan your theme tickets then your finger: they no longer stamp your hand.

We stayed at B.C. july 6-13, wonderful experience, we arrived early and as soon as a 2/2 Unit was available we were notified check in was a breeze. The Staff was very helpful, we had a 2/2 unit in Tower 4, 13th Floor overlooking the lagoon, it was beautiful in early am to sit on the Balcony and saw a dozen hot Air ballons rising in the Distance, The Tower is slated to be refurbished but it was still fine and I am picky, Wish we could have stayed longer then a week but will next time ,it is very relaxing There were 4 Adults and two Boys 7 and 11 in our group and everyone agreed they loved the Vacation. We will definetly return to B.C. as soon as time allows. One Tip rent thru Red Week it was the cheapest way to go and I will utilize it again in the near Future.

We just stayed here [June 2012]. Awesome resort! Our kids loved it and the resort provided shuttles back and forth to all the major attractions. !WARNING! Bring your patience when using the shuttles. They often don't run as frequently as you'd like and it can be a stampede to get on. We HIGHLY recommend just grabbing a taxi when returning from places like Magic Kingdom at 11:30p. It cost us about $20 and we didn't have to wait.

The pools are VERY nice. Remember all the activities will usually cost you a little money but so great for the kids. The condo itself was very nice and very spacious [we had the 2 bedroom]. Had some noisy neighbors but it wasn't out of control.

    Overall, a GREAT experience.

Sept. 2011. We stayed in a 3 bedroom and the entire place exceeded all of our expectations. Our room was very clean, staff very nice and provided clean towels quickly upon request. The pools were wonderful for our little ones..especially the kiddie pool area. It is soft material, not concrete, and was just so nice to relax there with our kids not to mention the lazy rivers!! We did rent a car to get to and from the airport, get groceries, and took it to the parks a couple of days. They have a freee shuttle system to all the parks and downtwon disney that used the same buses that Disney uses. It is very nice and on time. We did use this as well just like driving ourselves better sometimes. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. You will not be disappointed!!

Greatest vacation place ever! Followed this up with a 2 day trip to Disney's Polynesian - and the kids wanted to go back to Bonnet Creek! The best resort I've been to in Orlando area. Villas were awesome. Only one minor complaint: the kitchen could really use a few more pots, pans, and they give you 2 or 3 dishwasher and washing machine soaps for a 7 day stay for a place that sleeps 8. That was a bit miserly. There were more to buy, so it was OK, just a pain. Myt kids were 16,15,12 and 9 and all had an amazing time. My 16 yr old went down to the pool area every night at 10:00 and found kids his age to hang out in the hot tub with and talk to. It gave him his own little private time which was a little cooler than being with us.

My family: Myself, wife, and 2 daughters (17/13). 4/16-4/23 Vacation We are owners at Sheraton Vistana but due to circumstances beyond our control, we needed to stay at a different resort for the first time in 10 years.

Overall first impression was WOW, this is a fantastic place. Great location. 2nd impression: Check-In was terrible. I'll explain. We drove from Michigan and arrived at 10:30AM, prepared to spend the day at the pool prior to 4PM check-in. We did not expect to check in early but it would have been nice. However, the desk person took my cell number and told us that he would call AROUND 4PM when our room was ready. We went shopping for groceries and returned at 4:30. No call yet. 90+ degrees outside and we have eggs, milk, etc....

I explained to the desk person that check-in was supposed to be at 4PM and he only said that the room wasn't ready yet and they were really busy on Saturdays. We had to be patient. So then I had to complain about how that was unacceptable and I wanted to speak with someone else. He went into a back room and after 5 minutes came out and told us that another room was ready and we could get that one. Not a fireworks view like we requested, but pool view which was just fine.

Other than the check-in experience, the resort was first rate. The pools and lazy rivers were nice, and we enjoyed the walks around the lake. My opinion is that the main pools at Sheraton Vistana pools are bigger and you can actually move around. Same with the hot tubs. Also, the Vistana fitness center is better. For a resort as big as BC, the fitness center was way undersized.

Overall, I really liked this resort. The rooms were HUGE and the kids had their own bedroom with full size beds. The kitchen appliances were new and even the knife set was high end. The shower/bathroom was enormous. Bottom line: if you have kids, the bedrooms are far enough apart that you won't hear what's going in their rooms and they won't hear what's going on in yours. It feels like a house.

I would stay here again. Note: The timeshare pressure was on as usual, but to beat them this time we tried a new approach. Agree to attend right away and then don't show up. It worked great and they never called again. Sounds bad, but those people are relentless and annoying.
