Laguna Holiday Club Phuket

We loved this resort. It's situated with 5 other resorts all joined by a free shuttle bus and all of which accept room charge from this resort. The service is fantastic as the Thai people are very friendly and very very polite.

We had a two bedroom unit which was just great. It was very spacious and very clean. It had a lounge room and kitchen but to be honest we rarely used them as we spent most of our time touring or sunning by the pool.

The restaurant and breakfast at this resort was a little boring so we headed to the Angsana and Dusit which were just great. The breakfast at the Angsana was huge and had everything you could dream of. We loved the restaurant at the Dusit as it had a good selection of Thai food for us with western choices for the kids and the staff were fantastic and extremely friendly. Be sure to try the Lotus Restaurant on the beach as it has awesome food at a very reasonable price. There is a free shuttle bus, just ask the hotel desk to organise it however it is also just a short walk from the back of the Angsana which is just beautiful to do on a nice night.

The whole area is situated about 15min drive north of Patong Beach which means you're out of the hustle and bustle which suited us perfectly. We befriended a local Cab driver from Canal Village and then used him for the duration of our stay. He was very friendly and helpful. He took us to Patong Beach, stayed there while we shopped allowing us to use his boot as our storage, and then brought us back to the resort, all for about A$40. We also used him for some local trips and also to transfer back to the airport.

There is a water park about 20min drive which is good fun but a little expensive for Thailand. If you go there, try the Mango Daiquiri at the pool bar, it was to die for.

There is a great local massage place on the beach behind the Angsana and also another one down near the Lotus restaurant. Both offered great friendly staff and of course an excellent massage. I bought some custom made business shirts and pants from Mr John's on the beach behind the Angsana and although the price was bit dearer than Patong the quality was outstanding. I highly recommend Mr John.

Also be sure to checkout the Bin Talay restaurant at the Angsana and the Xana beach club which we also enjoyed very much.

This Laguna Holiday Club Phuket was established by Singapore Tycoon (Ban Yan tree group) ,it was one of the most time sharing club located in Phuket that situated among the 4-5 (5-7 stars ) hotels and resorts including Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, Angsana Laguna Phuket,Ban Yan Tree Phuket and Outrigger Phuket Laguna resorts and villas. Private beach ,pools and restaurants and many facilities provided to pamper the guests more convenient and comfortable.
