Great resort in a beautiful spot. Clean and comfortable. Took off one star for location as it is a little bit of a ride to get to San Diego.

Spent 4 fabulous days in a 1 bed/1bath. Very quiet, feels luxurious. Oversize tub, xtra deep! Linen plush. Stayed in a 1st floor unit overlooking Legoland. BIG NEGATIVE, 27 steep steps no elevator! Dangeous. Furniture excellent quality, drapes - very posh. Kitchen very well equipped. Brief walk (3 minutes) to golf club restaurant that was so inexpensive and great food. Brief walk to Twenty/20 Club restaurant (4 min.). Good food, high priced. Nicest timeshare we've stayed in during last 11 years of timeshare travel.

Loved it here! They actually have their own private entrance to Legoland-up a path near the giant fort play structure. So convenient for Legoland and Lego Aquarium. Very short drive to premium outlets (high end bargain shopping) and good lunch and dinner choices, beautiful, family friendly beaches with lifeguards and restrooms, quaint downtown, and easy access to San Diego via car or train (my kids loved taking the train-very fun). Lots to do just north of SD too, from Del Mar racetrack, to Scripps Aqarium in La Jolla, La Jolla art galleries, etc. Balboa park in downtown (better to drive here than take the train) is a must do. Great, great vacation. Resort itself is fabulous! Super comfortable beds, elegant modern furnishings, relaxing soaking tub, spacious well designed units. Lovely grounds-beautiful golf course views. Pool and spa were perfect. Can't wait to go back.

This is a new first rate Spanish Mediterranean style resort, under construction - due to open mid March 2008. New units are selling for $19,000 - $20,000. I need to break even - but will consider negotiations.
