The Ridge at Playa Grande

This 98-unit luxury resort, which is part of the Solmar Hotels & Resorts group, was built on a rocky ridge perched above one of the best beaches in Los Cabos, Playa Grande. From The Brigantine at the nearby Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa, guests can take in ocean views and dine on surf and turf dishes. Guests can also choose from a number of activities. On site there is a mini golf course as well as a fitness center. The resort also offers horseback and ATV rides on the pristine white sands of El Médano Beach and sunset cruises in the Pacific Ocean aboard one of several clippers as part of a two-hour tour complete with music, snacks and an open bar.

Sport fishing is another popular activity in one Solmar's many boats. The fleet can handle groups of up to six people and will mainly target billfish including striped, black and blue marlin. Each boat comes with top-of-the-line equipment, a cooler with ice, a captain and a sailor. Fishing licenses, beverages and bait are additional.
