Are you charged $40/day valet parking fee and $45/day resort fee even if you rent from an owner? My understanding is Hyatt now charges these fees to renters of owner weeks.

We were there the first week of November and were not charged for valet but did notice the day resort fee which I was not happy about!!

I guess I'll answer my own question as I have learned that in fact, Hyatt Kaanapali is indeed now charging renters of owner weeks a $40/day valet fee + a $45/day resort fee. There is a detailed thread in Tugbbs forums about it. $85/day extra definitely adds up and should be factored into the...
