How would we request a certain room. Does the owner that we’re renting from do that, or can we communicate directly with the resort?

Most weeks that are available to rent through RedWeek are “floating”, that is, the time share owner does not have a specific room or has a say as to which room will be assigned at check-in. The owner can “request” but in my experience, those requests are rarely honoured.
