The Deluxe Rooms offer large en-suite bathrooms and gorgeous lake views, the Superior Rooms are located on the ground floor rooms feature bay windows offering fabulous unbroken views over the Lake and Heritage Rooms are decadently furnished with moderately-sized en-suite bathrooms.
Lake of Menteith was formerly known as Loch Inchmahome, and Inchmahome Island in the center of the lake is a popular tourist destination that is home to the Inchmahome Abbey ruins, where allegedly young Mary Queen of Scots once sought refuge. Additionally, the resort is just an hour away from Glasgow and Edinburgh - both excellent locales for a day trip! A bit closer lie both Loch Lomond and the ancient City of Stirling, both very much worth some exploration.
