Per the owner: We bought into the Marriott because we liked the island of Maui as it seems more laid back than the other islands. I scuba dive and we go out to see the whales in the winter. The hotel is near Whaler's Village which has some nice restaurants and shopping. The property is very nice with three pools and other amenities. It is very much a family resort.
