Hilton Vacation Club Kaanapali Beach is located on the west coast of Maui. This is the most scenic area of Maui. I would use Lyft for airport to resort travel. They are reliable. For island travel I rented a Budget car. Their office is one-half mile from the resort. Stay away from the Road to Hana – it just is not worth the day trip. I hope this information is helpful to you. The registration desk will ask for a major credit card. The additional tax is called an occupancy tax of $21.29 per day. This should be the only additional charge. Within walking distance are beaches, other resorts and a golf course. I am a walker – this is some of the most scenic walking I have done. The old whaling town of The resort does have a BBQ grill area. I would eat breakfast and lunch in the suite. If I felt like it, I wo The resort is located near beaches, all are within walking distance. There are delis, food trucks, restaurants within walking distance. I used Lyft for airport to resort transportation. To tour the uld to go a restaurant, lunch truck or a deli. Next to the resort is a state park which offers a three-mile walking path. The path is near the beaches. The beaches offer great sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling.
