The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas Reviews & Ratings

We have been there twice the last years and it was always a great place to be for an relaxing vacation. Nicely spread spaces within the resort, incl, outside Grill Stations and pool area. Ocean-side is a perfect marine spot for swimming, snorkling, diving (incl. Turtles and many others) and all sorts of water activities. Only app. 15 min drive to Lahaina center with various city activities at Mauis greatest city.

My husband and I love the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas. It's our home away from home, and we try to go every year. Love taking pictures while walking along the beach, never a bad shot! The resort has the friendliest staff and you can walk to the other Westin villas nearby and receive the same great service. Great places to eat, and Lahaina is nearby.

We have been vacationing at this resort for over 20 years and every stay has been a better experience than even the high standards and the promises made by the resort. The Westin KOR is a gem on the island of Maui. A total submersion into the true meaning of Aloha.

The resort is amazing and with this you will enjoy unobstructed direct ocean views. There are several restaurants, pools for kids of all ages with full beverage services, and a spa.

Great timeshare condominium location for a Maui Beachfront vacation. Pleasant walk or short drive to neighboring properties, Whaler's Village or Lahaina.Complimentary shuttle. Well maintained property with multiple onsite amenities including pools, bbq areas, waterslides, snorkeling and scuba equipment, kids activities.

This resort is beautiful with a great location for snorkeling, swimming, and quick access to shopping and restaurants. Free shuttle bus to Whaler's Village or Lahaina for shopping and additional restaurants. All of the staff are always extremely friendly.

We have vacationed at the Westin Kaanapali Villas several times over the past few years. Always a great vacation!!!

This amazing resort has it all! Unbelievable views, location, location, location, the best snorkeling on the island, and a Westin brand that is second to none!

This resort is a fantastic place to base for touring the wonderful island Maui. The resort features wonderful beaches and pools, beautiful villas, fun activities for all ages, and is convenient to the many attractions of Maui. Not to miss are snorkeling, driving the Road to Hana, taking sunset pics, and laying on the beach.

This resort is one of the best - if not THE best, in Hawaii. It has a beautiful beach, tremendous snorkeling, a really nice layout (pools, lawn, lounge chairs, bbq and eating area, walking path along the beachfront and excellent service. Its location is excellent - 10 minutes from Lahaina, 5 minutes from Whalers Village and only minutes away from shops, restaurants, and other services. I’ve been coming back for over 25 years because it is simply the best!

They are HUGE. The best thing is the huge oceanfront lanai, with it's own padded chaise lounges and dining table, and even the lock off has a juliet balcony. 5 star elite owner, we often, not guaranteed, the best units with views from Lana'i to Molokai. The management is quite low key, and you can engage as you wish with activities. Quiet like a condo if you like, but also with poolside service like a hotel. I also love that this place has top of the line barbecues.

We are owners since the opening of the original Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas (South). We stayed in our 1-bedroom floating week, unit 2601 (Building 2, 6th floor, unit 1). This is a 900+ ft unit with separate kitchen + Living area from the private 1-bedroom bathroom. We had not been to the property since July, 2018. We were very happy to find that our annual maintenance dues have been put to good use. The buildings all have new carpet, fresh paint, and updated furniture. As a former house painter, I was very impressed with the painting of the walls, ceilings, finished woodwork. Also great color choices. We had a great view of the pool, ocean, and the island of Lanai. The main pool had been refurbished and looks great. They are back to a full staff of service employees, including in all the restaurants. The nice thing about building 2 is the adjacency to the North Villas (their pool, restaurant, exercise facility). Building 2 on the South Property also is where the Exercise Fitness room is located. The free shuttle from the property to Whaler's Village is a great amenity as it runs every 20 minutes--no need to get in your car and try and find a place to park at Whaler's Village--an underappreciated benefit. We have been coming here since it opened in 2007, and happy to report this resort is in fine form. Very relaxing and enjoyable visit to Maui!

A fabulous resort on perhaps the best beach in the area! Beautiful grounds and ambience.

We have been staying at this resort for over 15 years and have owned for over 10 years. We love the location with the beautiful boardwalks, stunning beach and amazing snorkeling which is right in front of the resort. The kitchens in the room as well as the BBQ areas have given us the flexibility to eat in and are also great for anytime drinks and snacks. The atmosphere is always relaxing. The Heavenly beds are truly amazing. A welcoming and wonderful resort for couples and families. Maui is our favorite vacation and this resort has been perfect everytime.

We have been coming to the Westin Kaapali Ocean Villas Resort for 10 years and love it each year. The resort is in a prime location and the amenities are wonderful. The staff has been wonderful to deal with and the experience they supply from the first night valet parking to the quality of the rooms and the break of everyday life is superb.
