With the most comfortable beds, beautifully managed units and incredible location, this resort is one of my favorite places. Walk straight outside to an amazing snorkel spot and an ocean front beach path that takes you all the way to Whaler's Village or the North Kaanapali resorts, shopping and restaurants. Great property for families!

We had an unforgettable stay at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas. The 1 Bedroom Ocean View Villa was absolutely perfect.

The highlight was definitely the breathtaking ocean view from our balcony. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee while watching the waves and every evening felt magical as we relaxed during sunset. The villa itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a luxurious bathroom.

The resort’s location is ideal—right on Kaanapali Beach with easy access to the pools, restaurants, and walking paths along the shore. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home with their warm aloha spirit.

This is the perfect place to unwind, whether you’re here for a short getaway or a longer stay. We can’t wait to return! 🌴✨

Best property location on Maui. Walk from Dukes on the beach all of the way to Whaler's Village on the ocean front board walk. Rooms are large and modern. Staff is very friendly.

The Westin is a fantastic resort in the best location on north kaanapali beach. The snorkelling reef out front is the best on the island. We have been back year after year since the resort opened in 2004!

Love this resort. Several pools and great outside facilities. Step on to the beach and then into the water to be in a vast underwater play ground--snorkel with Hawaiian turtles and a wide range of colorful tropical fish. Convenient location to nearby restaurants, cafes and shops.

We have stayed here several times, both as a couple and with the entire family. We love it! Great restaurants and activities at the resort. We love the beach and have found that snorkeling right in front of the resort is as good as anywhere we have found; colorful fish, eels, octopi’s, and turtles. We always try to go Jan-Mar so we can watch the whales breech as we relax on the beach. Service is always top knotch and they welcome us like we were ohana. I can’t wait to go back.

Best Beach on Maui for swimming, whalewatching, snorkeling, strolling, and sunsets. Great craft fair 2X's /wk. Lots of nearby restaurants and activities- and Lahaina's coming back!

It does not get any better than this on Maui! The swimming and snorkeling are so much better on this side of Black Rock than it is over by the Whaler's Village area. The turtles are so cool! The Oceanfront Studio Units themselves are so much better than the other studio units in the complex, having a private lanai with table and chairs right up at the oceanfront portion of the building, which facilitates the reasons why one comes to Maui to relax in the first place. Because your unit is right behind the Oceanfront units of the resort's buildings, you will be able to look out at the ocean from the lanai and the studio window to see the ocean just steps away.

There's also a free shuttle to other nearby resorts, restaurants and shopping.

Hawaii state occupancy fees apply. These fees vary by unit type and are approximately $45/night for two-bedroom units, it includes free parking. Valet parking is available for $35/night.

Wonderful location on the one of the nation's best beaches. One-bedroom villa is spacious with full kitchen, private laundry, large bathroom, and spacious lanai.

Kaanapali ocean resort villas are one of the premier locations in Lahaina Maui. The rooms are well maintained, and the staff takes care of your every need.

Just got home from 8 days in a 2-bedroom villa. Beautiful grounds and pools, quiet, nice rooms, my teens loved the pools, pickleball courts and gym. The beds are truly heavenly, but the sofa beds are horrendously uncomfortable. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked and having in-room laundry is nice. Calling our room "ocean view" is a little much, since you could only see a partial ocean view from the far end of the balcony. The beach directly out front is kinda rocky, but if you walk down the path to the left about 5 min there is a perfect beach with no rocks. It can be hard to find lounge chairs at the pools at times, and there is a steep charge to rent cabanas. Loved morning walks along the beach path and the lounge, lockers and showers available for after checkout. We were able to stay at the beach/pool all day before our flight and enjoy the property.

We have owned the Westin Kaanapali for over ten years and have always had an excellent time there. We are sorry we can't go this year, but we have a family wedding to attend.

The Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas occupy one of the best beaches in the Maui area. This property is well situated with access to the Kapalua Bay area and Ocean Village restaurants and attractions. The oceanfront unit gives you a view that is perfect for whale watching from the porches. The Westin service is excellent and always friendly. Multiple golf courses are close to the resort and it is walkable to the Ocean Village shopping area. The Westin Heavenly Bed is world renown for its comfort and these are no exception.

An ideal resort location directly on the beach with easy access to local attractions, hiking, eating and shopping. The resort is clean with all the luxury amenities of multiple pools, spa and fitness center. End your day by sleeping on the Westin heavenly bed!
