Every time we come to Aruba for a week we end up spending three.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to extend our time at the Divi Aruba
Phoenix and end up at the Marriott because we own two weeks in Palm
Springs. What passes for a ocean view at the Marriott Ocean Club and the
Surf Club is a view of the other building unless you go onto the balcony and
look carefully between the palm trees for a spec of blue. From the tower at
the Divi Phoenix the view is spectaular! The restrauants are great and
reasonably priced compared to the Marriott. We especially liked dining on
the sand.
We liked our room, which was recently renovated and had two balconies.
This enabled my wife to sleep while I got up early and enjoyed my moring
coffee on the living room bancony as the day dawned. In the enenings we
enjoyed wine with our sunset from the balcony. The renovated bathroom
with granite counter and jetted tub were great for the times you want
extra privacy.
The staff were very helpful in setting up trips for snokeling, horse treking (of
course you ride on the horse's back), golf, and parasailing. We even got
discounts on golf at the Divi Links resort.
Just relax and enjoy!
