We stayed at the Ocean club with 5 children in March of 2023.
We watched baby humpback whales
breaching off of our balcony nearly every day.
The pool area is breathtakingly beautiful and
the poolside grill was great for a fast lunch
before wandering to the multitude of activities
near the Kaanapali beach area. We enjoyed our
stay so much, we're headed back again! We
highly recommend this resort.
Snorkeling off the beach at Black Rock just
beyond the hotel is fabulous and doesn't cost a
penny. The nakalele blowhole is worth the hike and doesn't cost a penny either. Snorkeling at the Molokini Crater was great and we love the snorkel kaanapali tour we have taken. Whaler's village is a fun shopping area within easy walk of the resort. Lahaina, the small resort town was tragically destroyed by a horrible fire, but the resort area was untouched by the devastation.
We went to the Marriott's luau which was very
good and even the Kids really liked the food and the entertainment. The resort was not crowded and there was plenty of room by the pool to relax.
The rooms were once hotel rooms but have been tastefully converted and feel much more like a resort. Huge free guest laundry is on the pool level, kitchenettes in the 2 bedroom unit was very adequate and the nice sized
refrigerator could hold a lot of stuff!
Aloha and enjoy your stay, we loved it, full 5
stars.
