This resort is right on the hotel strip with easy access to the beach on one side and shopping, restaurants, and entertainment on the other. Even with so much so close, you feel pampered and in heaven with the view from the room, swim up pool bar, spa and both pool and beach so close to the beautiful blue ocean! One of our favorite spots to travel!

One of the most fabulous resorts with spectacular ocean views. The resort pools are large and well maintained with swim up bars. The resort is in a very safe area and in addition to the great resort restaurants, there are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance or a short cab ride away. Several grocery stores close by. Have vacationed here often and have never been disappointed!

This is a fantastic resort, steps from the beach, from several restaurants on site, along with daily activities. The resort offers tours of which we have taken several and enjoyed. Fabulous place for the whole family to enjoy all the amenities of this resort. The location is perfect for couples and families. Walking distance across the street to restaurants and upscale shopping. 15 minutes to Cancun Airport. Grocery market on-site. Workout gym on-site. Putt- putt golf on-site. Several pools, two jacuzzis, and it’s next to a famous Mayan Ruin.

Over the years our stay at The Westin Lagunamar in Cancún has been nothing short of outstanding. The resort strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort, and that signature Westin warmth that makes you feel instantly at home.

Every staff member —from the front desk to housekeeping to the pool team— is friendly, attentive, and eager to help. They consistently anticipated needs before I even voiced them. It’s rare to find a resort where the service feels both polished and heartfelt, but Lagunamar delivers exactly that.

The villas/studios are spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed. I loved having a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of space to relax. Beds are incredibly comfortable (as expected from Westin), and waking up to those ocean views each morning was unforgettable. The balcony became my favorite spot for coffee and sunsets.

The resort’s location in the Hotel Zone is unbeatable—right across from La Isla Shopping Village and close to everything, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with lush landscaping, sparkling pools, and plenty of loungers. The infinity pool overlooking the turquoise Caribbean is a highlight all on its own.

The restaurants and bars on-site were excellent, with fresh ingredients and great service. I especially appreciated the convenience of the market for quick snacks and essentials. The activities team kept things fun without ever feeling intrusive, and the beach area was clean, safe, and absolutely stunning.

We love our stays at the Westin Lagunamar and can’t recommend it enough. The resort offers stunning ocean views and clean, comfortable rooms that feel like a home away from home, complete with a well-equipped kitchen and in-room laundry. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Its location in the Hotel Zone is perfect—shopping and a wide variety of restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Whether you choose to relax by the beautiful infinity pool or unwind on the soft white sand beach, everything you need is right at your fingertips. And as a bonus, the best taco stand is right across the street!

Always a favorite trip of the year. The central location in the hotel zone and ease of access to the rest of the area, including Isla Mujeres or Cozumel, make this an ideal vacation spot. The rooms are cozy, there is access to area restaurants for all tastes, and the staff is world-class!

This is a great location. Central to shopping and restaurants. The bus stop is right in front of the property, making for easy and cheap transportation.
