The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North Reviews & Ratings

We have been visiting this resort since it was built. We consider it our home away from home and our kids love it. Rarely available oceanfront studio during whale watching season. love the Heavenly Bed and bath and always have a great time here.

Every time I go, I find something new to rave about. This year all my friends are going because I promote these wonderful timeshares I have. They are going to love it as much as I do.

We have vacationed at the North for several years and have been so impressed with the grounds, the staff, the building, and how it is kept up. The location, in our opinion, is perfect. It is located in the middle of the South and Nanai and I feel it has the best of both worlds. The pool is great. It's deep enough for adults and there is a section for younger children to be able to enjoy the pool as well. The restaurants that are located in the hotel are top notch. There is nothing about the North that I can find fault with. And, one of the best things about the location of the resort is the fact you have a great view of the whales.

This is an oceanview unit. The resort has many amenities including pools for adults and for young children.

We love the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villa’s which is on Kaanapali beach. The oceanfront 2 bedroom lock off is great for those who want to spend time in the pools or layout on the beach. You can leave your sliding glass doors open to listen to the waves. Snorkeling is wonderful as you will see sea turtles, fish, along with a coral reef. You can walk to Whalers villages for shopping, along with Blackrock which is a great place to snorkel as well. I recommend swinging by Costco and to use the full kitchen in the main room, but the Studio also has a small kitchen as well. Safeway is also a short drive away in Lahaina and other grocery stores. You can walk down to the beach or watch the Maui sunsets from the comfort of your balcony. There are so many amenities and places to explore in Maui or if you just want a relaxing vacation where the beaches and pools are steps away. There is something for everyone.

Beautiful oceanfront property on gorgeous Ka'anapali Beach in the renovated Westin KORVNorth. Stock photo shows original interior wall color of yellow. New color is a lovely and restful aqua. Renovations to the kitchen include an oven in addition to the cooktop and microwave. The Studio side of the 2 BR lock-off includes a mini-kitchen with full-size refrigerator, small cooktop and microwave. Both 1BR side and Studio side can sleep 4 each. Both sides have the Westin heavenly king size bed. Aloha!

When more than two of us are going, we love being able to rent a larger place so everyone can be together - yet have room to be apart as well. This place is perfect. It is luxurious to have two of us on one side and two more on the other - but it also works to have a whole family on each side. Two bathrooms, two kitchens, two balconies and so on.

Ocean Front Unit -There's nothing like being able to experience the sound of the waves, the smell of the salt air, and the view of endless ocean from every balcony and window of your condominium. Plus, it's so convenient to walk to the beach, to walk to restaurants and shopping, and to take the free shuttle to Whaler's Village

Great location on Kaanapali Beach North next to open space. Snorkeling right off the beach in front of property. Full kitchen, living room with two bedrooms, two pull-out couches and washer/dryer for each connected unit. Food available and market on property. Within walking distance to other restaurants. Great for families or couples.

This is a beautiful resort right on the ocean in a great location! Lots of amazing restaurants that you can comfortably walk to and the rooms can easily accommodate families.

We bought this unit after one stay at the resort. It has everything we were looking for. The feel of a resort with all the amenities including multiple pools, bars, family friendly kid areas, activities, restaurants, and the beauty of being right on a picture perfect Hawaiian beach. But with full kitchen facilities, plenty of space in the unit, and grills throughout the property makes it also feel like a home away from home. There are plenty of relaxing areas of quiet serenity for adults as well. Located right on a long beautiful west facing white sand beach makes for a perfect sunset every night. It also boasts one of the best snorkeling spots on the island right out your front door. A 10 minute drive to grocery stores, Whalers Village retail shopping and downtown Kaanapali is the perfect Maui location. The two bedroom ocean view lock off feels like your own family villa. It's heaven there every day!

I love staying at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas. The grounds are beautiful, pools are amazing with plenty of room, and then the beach. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff have always been extremely nice and helpful. I always recommend staying here for anyone traveling to Maui.

We love the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North. We stayed in July 2024 with our whole family of 13. We stayed in our ocean front two bedroom and rented 2 more two bedroom villas for our family. We hung at the pool having the cocktail of the day every day, we snorkeled at the beach steps from our room, we snorkeled turtle cove and Molokini, rented stand up paddle boards, had dinner at Mama's Fish House in Whaler's Village and Mali's in Lahaina. Wonderful

We've enjoyed great vacations at this location as a couple or family or with friends. The beach is so close and the options nearby for food and entertainment are great, plus it's easy to get around the island. We ziplined just north of here with amazing views, visited the blowhole and found both casual and fancy dining within an easy drive. We also stop for groceries so we can have more leisurely meals when desired and sit on the lanai or patio to enjoy the view and ambiance. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The Ocean Front Deluxe is truly magical. Only 16 units in the North section are directly facing and across from the oceanfront. See and hear the beauty of HI with a true oceanfront stay. Don't miss this one.

An incredible resort with all the amenities you could want. Perfect for a family with kids or a couples retreat. The whales put on a show every day and the sunsets are without comparison.

This is a gorgeous resort in a gorgeous setting. We, and other friends and relatives, that have used it have raved and claimed they want to go back again and again. I can't say enough good things about it from the water, the beach, the food, the rooms, the vibe, etc.
