This resort is located on the quieter northern end of Kaanapali Beach and offers calm, clear waters ideal for snorkeling (see tropical fish and turtles right offshore), soft sand, and fewer crowds than the busier south side. The villa is designed to look like home with a full kitchen with granite counters and appliances, in-unit washer/dryer, comfy Heavenly Beds, separate living area, and a private lanai with stunning ocean/mountain views. The jetted tub was a relaxing bonus after beach days. Resort perks shine—multiple pools (great for kids and adults), poolside dining, fitness center, and easy access to the beach boardwalk. Everything's well-maintained with lush tropical grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prime location: short shuttle to Whalers Village for shops/restaurants, close to Black Rock snorkeling, and perfect for sunset strolls. If you want luxury villa comforts, direct beach access, family-friendly vibes, and that relaxed Maui magic, this spot delivers. Highly recommend—can't wait to return! 🌺🏖️

While we have always loved this property, the recent resort-wide remodel has taken it to a new level—the villas are now more stunning, modern, and comfortable than the day they were built.

The Best Location on Ka’anapali Beach We chose the North Villas because they offer the perfect balance: peace and privacy. You are tucked away from the high-density "hotel row," yet a scenic 15-minute coastal stroll brings you right into the heart of Ka’anapali’s shopping and dining.

Why Our Guests Love It Here: A Snorkeler’s Dream: Forget the paid tours! You’ll find incredible snorkeling right in front of the resort. The beach is a flawless stretch of golden sand that runs from Black Rock all the way to Honua Kai.

Room to Roam: One of our favorite spots is the expansive oceanfront grassy lawn. It’s a rare find on Maui and the perfect place for kids (and "big kids" like us) to play while the sun sets.

Whale season... Quiet place on the beach! Great for Snorkeling!

You will be on-island for King Kamehameha Day (June 11), a state holiday featuring floral parades and authentic local festivals that you won't see any other time of year. This is the perfect week to experience the real Hawaii before the peak July crowds arrive.

The Villa: This is a full 1-Bedroom Villa in the North phase. The North tower is widely preferred by owners because it feels newer, quieter, and offers easier walking access to Duke’s Beach House just next door.

Full Kitchen: Real cooktop, convection oven, and full-size fridge (save money on breakfast/lunch).

In-Unit Washer/Dryer: Pack light and go home with clean clothes.

The View: "Island View" in the North Tower is a hidden gem—typically facing the lush West Maui Mountains or the quiet koi ponds/park, offering a peaceful retreat from the oceanfront noise.

Resort Access: You get full access to the entire complex—including the famous "Pirate Ship" pool for the kids in the South phase, the "River" pools in the North phase, and the pristine snorkeling reef right in front of the hotel.

This is an oceanfront resort with beautiful pools for all ages. Within walking distance of Whaler's Village - or take the onsite free shuttle. At Whaler's Village, you can catch your catamaran cruise, eat at the fabulous restaurants, and shop! The famous Wailele Luau is next door at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, where you'll be welcomed with a lei before sipping on a classic mai tai.

Beautiful location with a great beach. Quiet and peaceful away from the hotels but within an easy walk. Full amenity kitchen helps the family survive.

Great location in Kaanapali!!! Close to the boardwalk and beach. Cabanas, pool, ocean etc etc. Its our happy place!

The Kaanapali beach is directly off the resort giving visitors the option of a day at the beach or lounging at the multiple pools steps away. Wonderful snorkeling where you will see huge green turtles. There is a free trolley shuttle to Whalers Village for more dining and shopping options. Or take the scenic Kaanapali beach boardwalk, along the golf course and through the landscaped resorts along the way. Excursion boats for snorkeling, whale watching and sunset cruises are close by. My husband and I will be staying at KORN for 4 weeks.

Beautiful resort. It's connected to two other Westin resorts via a boardwalk making it easy to enjoy all three. Views/vibe are spectacular.
