The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North Reviews & Ratings

We have been owners at the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas North since the complex opened. We also own in Kauai and Cancun. However, our Maui timeshare is by far our favorited! Our Ocean Front view is fabulous, the resort is beautiful, we have access to the two other nearby Westin Maui resorts, and we love the island and all it has to offer!

Spent 2 weeks here over the summer and it was the greatest vacation of my life! Kaanapali North is awesome!

It's so nice to have that kitchen to make breakfast and lunch, then hurry down to the pool or the beach. The deck in the room is great for morning coffee. There are free shuttle buses that leave on the half hour that take you to Whaler Village to shop or eat at various restaurants. But the walk way in front of the resort that parallels the ocean takes you there too.

Been coming here since it was brand new. Love coming back to this resort again and again. The location, views, proximity to Whalers Village, shopping, restaurants is just perfect for those needing a bit of R & R on the beach.

This is Maui at its best. The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resorts are posh, comfortable, conveniently located and offer spectacular pools with service and beaches.

This will be at the end of whale season, but you'll still see whales breaching and tail flipping right from the beach and resort.

There's great snorkeling with turtles, lots of fish and coral...plus if you dive under you can hear the whales singing. I've even swam with dolphins right off this same beach. An experience I'll never forget.

This Beach is one of the best in the world. You and your family can snorkel right out in front of the resorts. Take a short walk to Duke’s for dinner and enjoy the sunset. We have been coming back since 2004. It never gets old. The 2 bdrm lockoff is perfect for 6 people but 8 can stay. Washer/dryers in both units. So much fun for families. We use the BBQ’s on site and cook some meals in. You can’t go wrong on a family trip here.

This resort offers everything you expect from Westin: the heavenly beds, great service, and a wonderful resort located in a beautiful Maui location close to Black Rock, worldclass golf, and Whalers Village.

We have been owners since 2005 originally purchasing Kauai, but transferred to Maui because we just loved the resort and the close access to the beach and some of the best snorkeling on the island! Also love the free shuttle to the Whalers Village!! It's our paradise and we never get tired of it!

Ka'anapali North is a magnificent place. Always enjoy our stay at Ka'anapali, plenty to do, snorkeling, the pool, golf, day trips to Molokini, Lanai, Whalers Village. Plenty of restaurants to visit as well.

This is our home away from home, we went here every year, this December we have a wedding to go and cannot use it. Private beach, Ocean Front! The BEST!

The North Tower staff are always welcoming and helpful. Free shuttle service to Whalers Village, Shopping and lots of great restaurants. The grounds are well kept and so beautiful. Plenty of activities for all ages. Beautiful beaches and snorkeling right past the pools. Nice boardwalk for walking or going out for a run along the water. We love going!

Absolutley one of the nicest Westin's on Maui. The resort is very family friendly. On property is a "Kiddie" pirate pool which is very popular with the little ones. There are 2 other pools on site with one for adults only. This is an ocean front villa with a beautiful view of Kaanapali Beach. Kaanapali Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on Maui and it's great for sunbathing, snorkeling and relaxing. The resort has a free shuttle bus that takes guests down to nearby Whaler's Village for shopping or dining.

Totally wonderful. Recently completely updated units. Fabulous amenities.

Most amazing is this unit is available during the height of whale season. See whales jumping and breaching from the balcony and beach. Takes your breathe away.

Beach is quiet and snorkeling is great. See the turtles and fish.

We stay at this particular resort every 2 years for at least a week. We always go between January and February in time for WHALE SEASON. We literally wake up and watch the whales from the patio, jumping and splashing in the Ocean, which is about 100M from our oceanfront unit. Sure, there are other 5-star Resorts on Maui (in Wailea), but in Kaanapali, and for the price / value - we don’t think there is anything better! The best beaches, awesome pools, and beautiful views! It's our favourite place in the world, and it will be yours too!
