Have stayed there several times, the last was in May. The other reviews pretty well cover it, but would like to add that it is possible to go from tower one to two in the grage without oing outside when raining. However, if I had to rate the (Member services) sales staff, it would not be five star.

This place is wonderful. We are definately going back. We went without the kids but next time we are bringing them. They'll have a blast. One downfall - they don't sell alcohol on the property!!! They have a bar but no liquer store. But everything is super close and within minutes away from some great restaurants like Bahama Breeze - carribean food, inexpensive, and great atmosphere (they were on the travel channel) Go there you won't be dissappointed!

The property is beautiful and very clean. We are definately going back there and will recommend this place to all my friends.

Just returned from this resort and have some pro's and con's - renter not an owner

pro's - if you want to take the family to Vegas and not have to walk through slot machines and gambling to stay this is a great place. As someone who used to go to Vegas on business a lot, its nice to have a non gaming place to relax. We requested a one bedroom and were upgraded prior to arrival to a 2 bedroom. Inside rooms of towers have some view - if you want a view you need an outside room. The room was a nice size, good sized kitchen and liked the corner kitchen nook. There are currently two pools, one for families and one adult only. There are many activities including parents night out and a magician we enjoyed, as it was free! Decor is nice, a bit frayed around the edges for the age, but the price was really great. They are in the process of building another tower.

now the cons - checking in took close to an hour as they could not find our reservation as we were renting - however in front of us we could tell lots of people checking in were not happy. As we were about to go to the room, I said this IS a 2 bedroom right? she said no, and had to make some additonal phone calls to get the 2 bedroom even though it was the resort that had done the upgrade.

We were then offerered a "welcome present and gift" via a note on our door the next morning and a phone call. When we went down to collect, we were told first it wasnt there and second that someone had already claimed it - we are pretty sure that the "gift" probably was linked to a timeshare sales presentation and because we claimed it late in the stay they changed their mind.

Overall for the accomodations for a family its a good location. As to the staff and their helpfullness and friendliness, well its not the Marriott.

Note Marriott is building a time share right down the street - this will I am sure continue to be a good reasonably priced location due to competition

POSITIVE: Nice, moderately priced condo. We rented a 1bedrm for 3-days, 2 nights, and another 2bdrm, 3days-2nights, consecutive. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and decorated. Shuttle to Harrah's every 20minutes was sufficient. NEGATIVE: Sales Staff took seats on shuttle to the strip while guests stood. I would FIRE one who would do so. No cover from rain when going from one tower to other. Need to upgrade the coffee shop. Limo not available for Platinum guests. Concierge told us limo was "sales tool" and Platinum guests were secondary. So don't count on using the limo if you're platinum.

We bought at this resort last year to become VIP members(we also own weeks at Fairfield Glade). We just returned from spending a week over Thanksgiving 2004. The resort is gorgeous. We had a nice wine and cheese party on the eve of Thanksgiving. There is so much to do in Vegas! This is one of the nicest resorts we have visited. We've owned timeshare since 1981. We upgraded to gold VIP while there and now have use of the Limo service while at resort. Check out Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, Vegas is also home of the largest Harley Davidson dealership in U.S. I love this place!!!!!!

MY WIFE AND I STAYED AT THE FAIRFIELD FOR A WEEK IN THE SUMMER. INITIALLY WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE PARKING IN THE OLD BUILDING, BUT AFTER A DAY OR SO, THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. I MUST ADMIT THE RESORT IS AWAYS FROM THE STRIP, BUT WHO WANTS TO LIVE ON THE STRIP. WE ARE AN ELDERLY COUPLE WHO FOUND THE SUITE AND AMENITIES PLENTIFUL. WE ARE GOING BACK TO LAS VEGAS IN JANUARY FOR 12 DAYS (CHECK EBAY FOR FANTASTIC DEALS) AND WILL BE MOST DEFINITELY STAYING AT THE FAIRFIELD. WHY WOULD ANYONE, ESPECIALLY AN OLDER COUPLE, LIKE OUSELVES WANT TO STAY ANYWHERE ELSE.

The resort is beautiful. We rented to 2 bedroom condos for Thanksgiving week. The problems were abundant though. The hot tub had so much chemical that it was really unusable. At one point the pool man partially drained it because people were complaining but it was still really strong. My sister had an allergic reaction and ended up in the clinic down the street. Also, beware of the concierge's here. They are so bad! One man in particular was flat out really mean and yelling at me in the lobby. I yelled right on back. It was awful. My family was berrated for not renting a scooter from them instead of an outside party and they refused to help us find the scooter we had ordered. The bell hop had it. We didn't even know we could have gotten a scooter from them. So sorry. Then...the fire alarm went off...bacon...and nobody in this huge monsterous place could turn it off for 2 hours! The windows don't open here so you can't really air it out. They gave us a big fan but even after the smoke was gone the alarms were still blaring. We finally just unscrewed them. Another thing is the sales at this place. I understand the need to sell but they had people in here all day long and the sales person would come by the hot tub or open the sauna every 5 minutes and say, "See! These happy people having such a great time here at Fairfield!" After awhile we just kinda sat there and stared off into space trying to ignore being put on display. The whole week kinda stunk but I gave it 3 stars anyway because its a really pretty place...

Only one consierge desk. They now have 2 towers but only one desk. We are VIP and yet we were put in the old tower. Don't get me wrong it is nice but could be better. There are outside lights which stay on all night which is good in some places, just not outside the bedroom windows.

My wife and I stayed the last week of October in the recently opened wing. We had a 2 bedroom and could not be more pleased. The resort is a great place to stay in Las Vegas but you definately want to rent a car. We will be coming back to this resort again.

We purchased our points just for our trip to Las Vegas. If the other Fairfiled resorts are like this one we will be extremely happy to have bought into Fairfield.

We have stayed on the property twice, once while under construction and then again last month after completion. The property and the people there are top notch. We felt at home and they 'do whatever it takes' to handle any issues. For being only a couple blocks away from the strip, it's well worth the stay.

This is a very beautiful resort. Everything was brand spaknkin' new. I loved it. My family and I went in November and it was so chilly that we could not use the pool. I asked them why they didn't have an indoor pool and I was told it is usually hot all year round.

This resort is not on the strip. We decided we didn't need a car, and life was a little hard for us. We had to find some way to shop for groceries, and although the resort provided a shuttle to the casinos, we were picked up and dropped of at the same location. You could not just wander from place to place and expect to find a ride at any casino. Moreover, I believe the last shuttle was at midnight. We should have had a car, but that defeats the whole purpose of saving money.

Great location, great staff, brand new nicely furnished rooms. Top of the line. The nicest resort we have stayed at except for Orange Lake in FL.

Amenities include a nice workout room, kids room, games room and pretty pool/whirlpool area. Not a lot of food to pick from on site-- but who cares in Vegas! Viva la Buffets!

This resort is all you expect and more. We have stayed here three times and each time the place just keeps getting better. I can hardly wait for the new pool to open with tower three in Sept. 03. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very nice and helpful. You are close to the strip yet the resort has a very quit and relaxing atmosphere. The kids love this place too. Bring the whole family for this resort takes care of all. Tracey
