My family has been enjoying Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club for over 30 years. It's a great location, the grounds are beautiful and the beach is gorgeous. It's been our favorite place to stay so far!

Our stay at Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club in Poipu was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff and the beauty of the property set the tone for an unforgettable vacation.

The location is unbeatable—right on Poipu Beach, one of the best swimming and snorkeling spots on the island. Each morning, we watched sea turtles gliding through the surf just steps from the resort, and sunsets over the Pacific were absolutely magical.

The villa itself was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and a lanai that became our favorite place for morning coffee. It felt more like a home than a hotel room, which made traveling with family incredibly comfortable.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped with lush gardens and winding pathways leading to multiple pools, hot tubs, and quiet lounging areas. The main pool area is lively and family-friendly, while the smaller pools offer a more tranquil atmosphere. We also appreciated the daily activities for both kids and adults, which added a fun touch without being intrusive.

What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction was genuine and kind—whether it was a quick recommendation for local dining, extra towels brought with a smile, or thoughtful attention at the front desk, the hospitality felt sincere and effortless.

If you’re looking for a place that blends the comfort of home with the beauty of Kauai’s south shore, Waiohai Beach Club is a perfect choice. It’s a resort that makes you slow down, soak in the aloha spirit, and create memories you’ll cherish for years. We cannot wait to return.

Waiohai Beach Club is our home away from home! So family friendly with activities for all ages. The facilities are spotless, the staff is so helpful. It truly is paradise with the best beach on the island, 3 pools , two lagoons with fishing for the kids, and close to shopping, golf and restaurants. The restaurant onsite is delicious- with outside dining.

This is one the coolest locations in Hawaii we have ever stayed. Turtles on the beach every night, Monk Seals on the beach almost everyday. Surfers out everyday in front of the resort. Gorgeous location. This place is amazing! The staff here is exceptional, we cannot say enough how awesome they are!

Great location next to Poipu Beach where you can see the sea turtles. Also next to Brennecke's beach which is a fun place to boogie board. Tons of activity on site with well furnished and comfortable rooms. Great place for a family!

This is an amazing resort for both families and couples! The turtles come up onto the beach every night, and monk seals are often lounging there during the day. The snorkeling in front of the resort is incredible, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The location is fabulous and the views unmatched.

great resort with easy access to the ocean as well as pool.. Restaurant on the beach is inexpensive and tasty. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Beds are comfortable and A/C works great.

This resort, on the ocean in sunny Poipu, has been a family favorite for almost 20 years! Snorkeling off the beach has delighted teen and preteen grandchildren, the pools have kept the "littles" busy, and the beautiful grounds have been a relaxing oasis for my husband and me as we ease into our 80's. Waiohai's proximity to restaurants, shopping, boat excursions, horseback riding,and interesting sights has added to our enjoyment of staying at this property. One of Marriott's Best!!!

This property is absolutely amazing! It is not as busy as other resorts. It really feels like a home away from home. Everyone is super friendly and the amenities are top notch.

Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club is the best!! We have been going there since it was first opened...at least 20 years ago. The resort is very clean and the staff are exceptionally courteous. The location is on sunny Poipu Beach on the south end of Kauai. You can swim in a protected bay area as well as surf right in front of the resort. Area restaurants and shopping are within an easy walk as well.

Beautiful beachfront location. We snorkeled right out in front of the hotel and saw schools of fish and sea turtles. Turtles on the beach every morning! Staff treats you like family. Great location for whale watching too!

We absolutely love being legacy owners at Waiohai. On the single best beach on the island. Great snorkeling, safe swimming (including a "baby beach", visited daily by sleeping monk seals who sleep on the sand and giant sea turtles! It is the ONLY Kauai timeshare with deeded owners who care deeply for their property, evidenced by the fact that most everyone returns year after year! Most of the staff at Waiohai have been there for years and years. They are family and they treat Waiohai guests the same. This is the first time in 20 years we will not attend, only because our college aged children are busy with internships next summer.

One of the best resorts in Poipu. Directly on a great snorkeling beach frequented by turtles and seals, exceptional grounds and amenities, and Marriott's staff are always friendly and helpful.

My family loves vacationing at Waiohai! We have owned our unit since 2003 when the resort was under construction. This is our favorite Hawaii beach to visit as the sea life is abundant and the ocean is so enjoyable! Waiohai is close to Old Koloa Town, dining and shopping areas, as well as other beautiful and historic places of interest. We find Waiohai to be a great resort for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Kauai.

This Marriott location is the best in Kauai. Two-minute walk to Poipu Beach, plenty of restaurants nearby and perfect resort for families wanting a relaxing vacation. Enjoy plenty of sunshine, seeing the occasional whale and all of the golf you can play nearby.

We have stayed at the Marriott Waiohai many times and we have had a positive, rewarding and fun experience each trip. The Waiohai is located on one of the best beaches in Hawaii. You are in a beach area that's ideal for swimmers, snorkelers, suffers and there is even a Keiki (small children) calm area for kids to enjoy playing in the ocean. There wasn't a day that we did not see seals and sea turtles. We found the area to be conveniently located on the coast mid island for commuting to other island destinations. However, there is no need to this as the area has several great restaurants, shops and adventures to explore just minuets away from the Beach Club.
