I absolutely love the Marriott Waiohai resort at Popui Beach in Kauai. The property is beautiful and has many amenities such as swimming pools, hot tubs, bbq islands, the gorgeous poipu sand beach just steps away. I love to come out to the beach in the early morning to see the huge turtles and sea lions sleeping on the beach, don't worry though as they go back in the ocean water when the sun comes up. I think you'll love it here like my family does.

Beautiful setting with direct beach access; friendly and helpful staff; very clean grounds and villas; villas have full kitchen with washer and dryer. Wonderful place to stay and enjoy the beautiful island of Kauai.

No better place on earth to welcome in the New Year than with an Oceanfront condo on Kauai! Kauai is our favorite island and this beach front resort is pure relaxation. Kauai is less crowded than other Hawaiian islands and less developed. It lives up to its name as the Garden Island! Don't miss a boat ride with turtles and dolphins off the Na Pali Coast, and possibly whales as well. Paradise!!

The Marriott Waiohai Beach Club is a beautiful and safe resort. It is ideal for families, couples and singles. You can't beat the location on one of the most beautiful beaches on Poipu. Safe for snorkeling, paddleboarding, body surfing, sunbathing, and walking on the beach. Great location to see monk seals and sea turtles come right on the sand to rest. My son grew up here at the Waiohai and even now as an adult he has fond memories of all the fun, great food and friendships he made while vacationing at this resort...

We have had a timeshare at this resort since 2006. We have been almost every year since then. It is truly our happy place on the "sunnier" side of the island. The resort is comfortable and the hales (suites) are perfect for family gatherings. Getting to the resort is easy - 25 -30 minutes from the airport and all of the conveniences of Lihue (stores like Target and Costco). The beach is breathtaking and we often see monk seals and turtles on the beach. Snorkeling right off the beach is excellent. There are many great restaurants close by in the cute town of Koloa. We also love to use the grills available at the resort to make big family meals. Multiple pools and a very swimmable beach offers something for everyone. Welcome to paradise!

Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club is located on Poipu Beach - the BEST beach on Hawaii. The salt water pools are heavenly. Great restaurants and shopping are a short walk from the resort. We LOVE Waiohai!!

Been coming here for 21 years now, every year. It has a kind of magic to it- the resort grounds, the beach, waves, sunsets, the locals, the pool bar, the beautiful and large pools. It's like a second home. Some years the staff are good about keeping the chairs free of people who just put their towels on them for the day, other years they don't attend to this annoyance. The units are large and well equipped, and in reasonable shape. All in all, a memorable place to enjoy any time of the year.

Waiohai is an awesome resort. It is a smaller Marriott resort right next to Poipu beach. It is typical Marriott quality and cleanliness. I highly recommend staying here. We come back ever other year at a minimum.

We love the Waiohi Beach Club! We go with our family every year because it is really a perfect family vacation. The beaches are beautiful and walking distance from your villa, anywhere on the property. There are pools for all ages, beautiful plantings, and a stream with live fish that runs through the resort. Be sure not to miss the spectacular sunset by the beach. It's our happy place. Our 3 year-old grandson really enjoyed the children's beach this year and was able to see sea turtles and fish while swimming in the calm sea water. It's a winner!

I have stayed at this resort many times and still love it. The fact you can walk right on to Poipu Beach to swim and snorkel is amazing. During this time of year you will see the whales and dolphins breaching right from the resort. To sit at the Hono Pool Bar and Grill (right on the beach) provides beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets. I love this resort.
