There’s nothing like the pools, swimmable beaches, snorkeling, beach side bar, and walking distance to many magnificent trails and high end shopping areas and restaurants. The 2 bedroom units are beautifully maintained and you can’t beat the views!

Our family can't get enough vacation time at the Marriott Waiohai! Perfect location for sunning, boogie boarding, small kiddie pond to the left, turtle and monk seal watching, and surfing to the right! Most amazing Hawaii spot!

Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club is one of the best spots in Kauai. Located on Poipu Beach the weather and sunsets are amazing! There are many excellent restaurants nearby and the resort has gas grills to use as you sip your favorite beverage. There are also several pool options including a "Quiet Pool" if you want to just listen to the ocean. The beach is beautiful and a great place to swim, snorkel, or paddleboard. Surfing lessons are also available. We love this place!

Paradise in Poipu! This breathtaking award winning Marriott resort sits directly next to Poipu beach park. Sun and surf abound, turtles and/or seals visit the beaches at sunset.....the moon shimmers the ocean in the evening and the milky way adorns the night sky. Swim in the ocean or in the multiple pools the resort has. Whirlpools and hot tubs, game room, ping pong all at the resort in addition to the Honu Bar and restaurant right next to the beach! Surfing lessons, snorkeling equipment, beach amenities all available if desired. Many other great restaurants for all budgets in the area walkable from the resort. Any villa in the resort is 1 minute from the beautiful beach. Easy parking, resort has organized activities for the kids. The large unit has a full kitchen, laundry, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms with King beds, also 2 sofabeds, and a patio or balcony. Exact building and floor assigned at check in, you can request a particular building/floor if available. All famous Kauai sites easily drivable. Once you have the Aloha spirit..you may never want to leave!

Perfect Family Paradise — Unforgettable for Kids and Parents

As a father of four kids between the ages of 10 and 16, finding a vacation spot that genuinely works for everyone is rare. Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club absolutely nailed it.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like the resort was designed with families in mind—without sacrificing peace, beauty, or quality. The grounds are immaculate, lush, and relaxed, with that perfect Kauai vibe that immediately slows you down.

The beach is the star. Poipu Beach is right out front and ideal for families. The kids spent hours snorkeling, boogie boarding, swimming, and watching sea turtles cruise by. The water felt safe and accessible, even for younger kids, while still being exciting enough for teenagers who want adventure.

The pools were a huge hit. Between the main pool, the kid-friendly areas, and the easy flow between pool and ocean, our kids always had something to do. We never once heard, “I’m bored.” That alone is worth five stars.

Spacious villas made family life easy. With four kids, space matters. The villa gave us room to spread out, relax, cook meals together, and actually enjoy downtime without stepping on each other. Having a kitchen and laundry made the trip feel effortless instead of exhausting.

Activities for every age. From beach walks and sunsets to casual games, local excursions, and just hanging out together, Waiohai struck the perfect balance between activity and relaxation. Our teenagers felt independent and engaged, while the younger ones felt safe and entertained.

It brought us together. That’s the real magic. We watched sunsets together, laughed in the pool, explored the island, and created memories that will stick with our kids long after the trip. In a world where everyone is usually on a device, Waiohai pulled us into real moments as a family.

Location is the beauty of this place in paradise. Watch sea turtles, humpback whales, surfers and enjoy snorkeling right in front of this beautiful resort. Plus many restaurants , and two small unique shopping malls with one hosting a weekly fresh market, all within walking distance! Kid activities and adult activities are well thought out and engaging!! We have stayed at all of the Marriott Resorts on Kauai and this is #1 !

Two generations of our family of enjoyed staying at Waiohai Beach Club over the last 20 years. They have kept up with the times, but not changed too much. Great weather, great location, all the amenities, walkable nearby market, shops, restaurants. Checks all the boxes for us.

Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club sits directly on sunny Poipu Beach, where green sea turtles haul out to sleep just steps from your lounge chair—an unforgettable sight. Spacious two-bedroom villas easily sleeps 6, with full kitchens and washers/dryers that make family travel painless. Service is genuinely warm and attentive, pools are excellent, and on-site dining plus a great little market cover most needs. Far less crowded and commercial than Maui or Oahu, it feels like the relaxed, authentic Kauai experience everyone hopes for. Highly recommended for families wanting luxury without the frenzy.

This is the most gorgeous beach / island property we have ever stayed at. Grounds, pool, beach, BBQ facilities, condominium units with well-equipped full-kitchens, and resort staff are all top-notch. The resort and surrounding area are quiet, very safe, with several fun restaurant and shopping venues within walking distance.

I always enjoy coming to the Marriott Waiohai because with the Marriott brand you always know that you'll be staying at a wonderful resort with a great reputation. Located right on Poipu Beach the resort is ideally located and offers two master suites with additional sleeping for the rest of the family!

Amazing 2bd 2ba unit, Oceanview on one of the best beaches in the United States, Poipu Beach. Friendly staff, great location to the best restaurants, farmers markets, local attractions. Wonderful BBQ area, cook with a nice glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful scenery, nice neighbors and warm beach weather.

Our family just had a fantastic stay at the Marriott Waiohai Beach Club. It was perfect for our young kids. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The pools were great for little ones and the beach right outside was calm and beautiful. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the daily activities kept the kids entertained and happy. We had such a relaxing and memorable trip and we cannot wait to return.
